I love the lodge and this relatively unknown part of CR. The lodge offers all the basics and much more. There is the option to explore locally with or without guides the lodge will source for you. It was an amazing experience - one I hope to repeat soon!

I loved the care given to me by the staff. I felt like family there. The beach and the rainforest were very accessible and the hiking trails were outstanding. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I would recommend it especially for the birds.

Tiskita is a special place and it was exciting for me to feel I was in a jungle, literally with monkeys and other wildlife free to live along as they please. I miss seeing the humigbird that entertained me every morning. The stars at night were unbelievably bright and magical. I loved the food and even got to learn how...

We recently spent 3 nights at Tiskita and had an outstanding visit. This is not your typical high-end resort. It is an opportunity to visit and understand the rich biodiversity of this remote part of Costa Rica while staying in comfort and having a chance to meet and talk with the owners. The living arrangements are very comfortable with very...

We have just returned from our 7 night stay in Tiskita and have already booked for next year .OMG Our experience was amazing . Reading the reviews of other recent travellers, you will see that most visitors agree. We flew in with Carmon Air from San Jose and would highly recommend this method if your stay in CR is short.From...

This was the first time we have ever returned to a holiday destination- on our first visit in 2016 we fell in love with this lodge and we both felt compelled to go again. It felt like taking a risk- we worried that we could never recreate the perfect time we had on our first visit. Our worries were unfounded-...

A really great experience and well worth the trip down south. Host Peter has had an amazing life and truly interesting to listen to. We also found SANSA airline to be fine, taking 3 flights with them. Worth photographing the site map before you go out as there are so many trails to follow. Also take a torch, as the...

This was our second adventure to Tiskita. The amazing biodiversity quiet serene cabins and excellent staff brought us back. We were awarded with wonderful views of wildlife and endless hikes through the forests, orchard and beaches. This is truly a unique destination where nature can be seen as it was meant to be. No one wanted to leave Tiskita Lodge after 6 nights for our yoga adventure. The hosts were perfect and made us feel special and like family. The staff, including the guide, Mario, and the volunteers are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. There is plenty to do, as our group of 18 found out. The food could not have been better as well...
