Recently stayed at this resort whilst looking at property to purchase.
Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with excellent water views.
The biggest to tv that I have ever seen.
Close to shops, transport, restaurants.

Rooms are modern, with full kitchen and ducted air conditioning. The property is gated by security tag entry. With a undercover allocated car space.
There is a gym and swimming pools on site. I would imagine that these apartments are busy over the Christmas holidays.

Overall it's a great place to stay , secure, close to amenities.

A hidden gem, would recommend to anyone who is looking for the whole package.

Special shout out to Kevin (manager) his local knowledge was very helpful and valuable.

Would stay here again.

My husband, son and I recently stayed in the penthouse at Bluewater Point Resort. It was a extremely clean and well presented apartment. Very quiet of a night, close to all facilities, restaurants, supermarkets etc. Great private roof top terrace and BBQ area. The managers were very helpful. Vanessa will ensure your stay is relaxing and worry free. We were given a discount for extending our holiday to 7 nights from 5, the beds were so comfortable. The best sleep I have had in holiday accommodation of any type. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to relax and enjoy yourself and my family and I will certainly go there again.

The rooftop BBQ in each penthouse apartment area is an awesome feature with views overlooking the harbour. very close to shops aswell. Spacious and comfortable 3 bedroom apartment. All room accessible by lifts. Heated swimming pools were ideal for children. Seriously fantastic view of the marina. In the vicinity of shops, service stations and fishing hire facilities. Located on the Nicklin Way road made it convenient to access Alexandra headlands, Maroochydore and the Sunshine Coast Highway.

We are having an awesome 8 day holiday here at this gorgeous resort. Our apartment has 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and massive balcony with direct access to boardwalk. Although situated on a busy road you cannot hear anything. Not far from your door is a massive pool, spa, sauna and gym. Onsite management are very friendly and quick to help when a light bulb needed replacement. Shopping, Dan Murphy and lots of cafes and restaurants close by. This is a beautiful place to stay for a getaway ☺

Just come back from a 5 night stay at this Resort. Great central locations for everything on the Sunshine Coast with nothing more than 1/2 hour away (Eumundi, Noosa, Big Cart, Australia Zoo, ...). 5 min walk to good shopping centre and 20 min walk to beach (5min drive). Plenty of places to eat nearby.

Don't let the location of a main road put you off - it is dead quiet and a great view from all rooms of the canal/boats.

Facilities are good with pool, gym, sauna and great that it never feels busy even when full. Good parking underground as well.

Actual accommodation is good. We stayed in 3 bedroom on the ground floor which has the advantage of direct access to the boardwalk. Nothing is perfect and I took a star off for just some of the little things in the unit that were not 100% up to scratch but I am sure will be attended to by management in due course.

Brilliant air-con helped get through a week of very hot and humid weather.

We stayed here for a girls holiday for 3 nights around easter and we had a fantastic time. Check in was very easy and the lady who checked us in was extremely friendly and also very helpful. The places was fully self contained, the rooms and common areas were huge, and much nicer that we expected. There is a a few shops - takeaways, convenience store, maccas and also a huge shopping centre all within walking distance. The Kawana Waters pub is right next door, which was a fantastic place to go for dinners and drinks, we also checked out the trivia there one night which was a lot of fun. Mooloolaba isn't too far away by cab (say under $15) so a night out is easy to do also. We spent most of the time chilling out by the pool or relaxing on our huge balncony overlooking the marina. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay, and we will definitely be returning to Bluewater Point. The location was perfect, the view from our room just magical with the expansive glass walls & doors allowing an uninterrupted view out to the water and over the marina. Sitting out on the large balcony sipping a glass of wine and watching the boats returning at the end of the day was just so relaxing. My hubby absolutely loved fishing off the boardwalk along the marina right below our room. The Managers at reception were generous to give us a late checkout on our final morning so my hubby could do a little more fishing! Thanks Vanessa! The kids really enjoyed the pool and spa, even in the middle of winter. Anything you needed was in walking distance whether it be shopping or restaurants. Highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return.

I had booked a 2 bedroom apartment but was told when confirming that we would be in a 3 bedroom - I thought it was an upgrade!!!! Vanessa was very nice on phone and after hours check in was smooth and faultless. Unfortunately that was where it ended. We were planning a full Christmas dinner BUT
crockery was chipped and not matching only 5 .
Everything was a miss match of old cups plates and bowls
Not one knife, fork & spoon matched!! Or was missing ......
Oven had no markings on temp or settings controls - just had to guess and when it was turned on the fan noise and smoke billowing out of it was frightening. Found burn waffle?? In back - not cleaned
Only 2 odd wine glasses ,
TV in lounge kept losing signal for long periods of time.
Microwave didn't have light and most of the functions didn't work
Dishwasher took 3+ hours to wash then wouldn't turn off - left everything still dirty and wet
En-suite sink blocked
Main shower door broken
No bulb in lamps
CD player functioned spasmodically
Carpet dirty and stained
Bin on kitchen cupboard broken off door
Ended up buying a set of wine glasses , paper plates and my mum had to go home and cook the turkey!!!! Christmas table looked like we were camping
POOL was lovely - spent a lot of time in it. Didn't see managers the whole stay.
Stayed here 2 years ago and had a lovely time but has really gone down hill. DEFINITELY NOT 4.5 star as advertised.

Firstly we take all reviews very seriously and will endeavour to improve our rooms and service wherever possible. In this case we have no intention of dissecting the various comments made within this review but feel hugely disappointed that the guest didn’t feel it important enough to raise any issues during their entire stay. Contrary to their belief our office was opened every day except xmas day and we also had staff working around the various resort areas throughout the day. At the beginning of their stay on the one occasion our office was notified of an issue we promptly took action and assumed there were no other problems. We are therefore suspicious of the motive for the guest contacting us via email with a list of criticisms that were later found to be incorrect or highly exaggerated and then writing a review on Trip Advisor after receiving our reply in response to their complaints. Having said that after investigation we did find there were small areas that needed attention and again promptly took action and also apologised to the guest for any inconvenience they felt during their stay. It must be stated however that all issues were resolved within a very short timeframe and would have been done so should we have been aware that they affected the experience of the guest in such a profound way. Our mandate has always been to strive for continuous improvement and we will endeavour to improve the experience of our guests wherever possible. Peter - Bluewater Point Manager

We stayed in this apartment complex after seeing it advertised on WOTIF. It looked a great location and thought it central to the Sunshine Coast attractions. When we arrived (after driving back and forth along the road several times to try and find it) we were lucky to be let in as they were expecting us at check in time of 2pm. Our confirmation clearly stated 8pm! Fortunately one of the owners was outside at the time and was able to check us in otherwise I don't know what we would have done. They had been emailing us during the day to check on our arrival time which was crazy as we had booked 3 months in advance and we had been travelling since 6am that morning.

When we entered our room I was immediately struck by the filth everywhere. The light switches, walls, floors and door handles were grimy and revolting. Ewww!!! The floors were so dirty that my daughter's socks were black within a minute. I couldn't believe a 4 star rated apartment could be so filthy.

The carpets in the bedrooms were stained and looked like they hadn't been vacuumed for weeks. All around the outsides of the rooms were thick with dust. Even on the bed frame there was dust I could swipe off. The couch was grey with grime and I wouldn't sit on it without placing a blanket over it first.

The first thing we did after unpacking was to go down the road to the supermarket and buy cleaning products. I cleaned for 1 1/2 hours until I felt it was hygenic enough to stay in!

All night I heard the air conditioning in the walls creaking and groaning and found it very hard to sleep.

I must say that the views and location are superb. The pools too were a big hit with the family.

A shame that the apartment didn't cater for 6 people as it should have being a 3 bedroom apartment. There weren't enough bowls or cutlery or outside furniture.

When we checked out my husband voiced our concerns and was told that an independent cleaning company does the cleaning. They were grateful for the feedback . I believe they are new owners and probably finding their way around. I do think spot checks on rooms should be the norm to keep up standards.

I hope things do change as it was a terrific spot.
