I recently visited Le Life with 7 other friends for two nights stay. Le Life was absolutely incredible. Jacques and Debbie were absolutely lovely, accomodating and great fun. They run a fantastic venue, the staff were brilliant too and we had some excellent food.

I couldn't recommend these guys more - it literally made our trip to Vanuatu and we loved every second.

The location is absolutely beautiful with secluded, stunning beaches and more spot to sit and read a book/have a beer than ever :)

Their lorikeet Coco is possibly the cutest thing I've ever met!

100% will visit again - thanks again guys, absolutely loved it.

We started our day experience at Le Life with a kayak up the local river which was not to difficult and just long enough to work up an appetite at the Le Life restaurant and bar. The bar service and staff were very accommodating and our meals were all delicious. We will definitely visit again with friends and family.

I recently spent 10 lovely days at Le Life. Any words I write will not do it justice because there are not enough adjectives to describe how wonderful this place is.

The views are sublime. The accommodation perfect. The food scrumptious. The atmosphere & ambiance peaceful, restful & fun.
Suitable for guests of all ages; couples, families, singles whether you are seeking adventure or relaxation. The local tours on offer are great.

It is the people who live & work there though that make all the difference. The owners, Jacque & Tahnia & their team, David, Alice, Amos, Evelyn, Lina, Amelia, Jean-Claude, Alice & Sarah, just to name a few are so very friendly, welcoming & hospitable that you quickly feel right at home.

Incredibly it is the genuine cultural experience offered here which is unique even in Vanuatu at large or anywhere else in the South Pacific. Le Life is so much more then a “western” style resort which can be found anywhere. At Le Life it is so easy to become immersed in the Ni-Van way of life, the simplicity is magic & their sense of community inspiring.

Do yourself a favour & check this place out.

Wedges were good, but were served with mayonnaise and not sour cream as mentioned on the menu. Prawn curry had the small frozen prawns not fresh prawns. Service was also very slow, but, this is to be expected in Vanuatu.
On the upside, it was a really beautiful beach.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family of 4. Mixed feelings as the location is spectacular, particularly once the tide fills the little bay out the front which made it great for my kids to swim without any worries. As you exit the little bay and snorkel to the right the coral is really exceptional but need to be careful of the currents as there is a rip.

We had a family bungalow which was large and comfortable enough. Shower was cold and a trickle though and there were quite a few mosquitoes around.

Restaurant and bar area is a nice open space and food was ok

We did a fishing trip with them which I wouldn't recommend at all. Boat and fishing gear had all seen better days and 'guides' had no idea

We called in here on a trip around the island for dessert. It was a hidden gem. We had lime sugar crepes while sitting beneath the palm trees looking out at the ocean. The crepes were delicious and the location unspoilt and peaceful.

We called in here on our drive around the island for lunch and a swim. Totally amazing location and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the cabbage rolls and pretty sure they were the best things we tasted on our whole trip. We didn't stay in the accomodation but after seeing the location wished we did. The staff were super friendly and it was a great little bay to swim in with our young kids.

This is a great place to visit in a more quiet area of Efate Island. Beautiful setting with bungalows by the beach, beautiful ocean views and so much to do for families or couples alike.
We stayed 3 nights with a family of 5 (3 teenage boys) and had a great time swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, going on a kayak and rainforest tour with JC the man! The best guide ever!
There is no need to go elsewhere as there is a restaurant on the premises. And you really get an authentic Vanuatu experience with a lot of the staff being from the neighbouring villages.
Jacques and Debbie run the place and are fabulous hosts! Forever making sure you have a great experience whilst staying at their resort. Tank you tomas!!!

We planned to stay 4 nights and ended up with more than a week.
Such a lovely place with gorgeous food ( make sure you try their smoothies as well!)
We really loved our bungalow - big space, nice design and comfortable bed.
Everything is clean, you have a little kitchen as well.

The view is just amazing. Small bays in front of the bungalows and lots of papaya trees in the garden.

The whole staff is really lovely, taking care of everything and smiling all the time.

Long story short we lived the vibe here, I’m sure that we will come back again.

Thank you Tahnia for making our stay so memorable ☺️

A great place to stop for lunch, drinks or a snack on your day trip around the island.
Or spend the day relaxing beside the water, enjoy a swim or a kayak.
Plenty of options to stay the night or even longer. The bungalows are comfortable and great spot for a family.

Efate, Vanuatu
Yes it is possible. Many areas around Vanuatu now are closed off for fishing, however the North part of the island is still open with excellent reefs and beachfront to access. It is always nice to share some of your catch with the locals to keep them happy and always ask around before you go diving to double check but it is all ok (and get information on currents etc) but generally speaking in front of the resort is fine!

You can also arrange with a local bus if you are in Port-Vila, but make sure to clarify your arrangement and the rate before you go with the driver.
