We stopped at the lyndale whilst passing through on our cycling trip. We found the help from the owners excellent as we was running late. The rooms was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had with good choice available and cooked fresh. I will be back with my family next time.

Being in the center of The Way of the Roses cycle route you can imagine we get lots of cyclists. Some young, some very young and some a bit older (even in their 80's). It gives us great pleasure in providing them with a warm welcome, a comfy bed and a hearty Yorkshire breakfast knowing they will have a good...

Great place to stay. Steve and Lynn couldn't be more accommodating. Lovely comfortable room. Oh and the power shower was perfect after a day in the saddle. Plenty of choice at breakfast in a very relaxed setting. See you again when I'm in the area

Thank you Alfie for your kind review. A good shower goes a long way in reviving a tired cyclist, fortunately we have a good plumber who realized how important this was and fitted them in all our en suites. Hope to see you again soon. Kindest regards, Steve and Lynne

Excellent accommodation at Pateley Bridge which is a great centre for exploring the dales. Very friendly knowledgeable owners who provide spotless very comfortable accommodation right in town but which is very quiet at night. Good choice of breakfast fare. Our room was huge and very comfortable. Plenty of places to eat which serve excellent meals and can recommend the fish...

Wonderful stay whilst doing The Way of The Roses. The owners were very accommodating as we only booked a few hours earlier when we realised our intended destination was beyond our physical fitness capabilities. Beautiful breakfast, powerful power shower and very clean throughout this a place we would definitely come to again. Not surprised it is ranked number one B&B...

Thank you for your wonderful review. We like being able to revive cyclists after a long day in the saddle. Some arrive in a bit of a sorry state having endured various difficulties en route, from inclement weather to mechanical or body failure. It is nice to see them come down for breakfast the following morning refreshed and in a...

We stayed here for an overnight stay whilst doing the Way of the Roses ride. The owners were very nice and understanding when we arrived late at around 9pm due to a bridge closure on the route. The location of the B & B is very central and just a few yards off the route which makes it an ideal...

Stayed here with a friend for one night during way of the roses cycle ride from Morecombe to Bridlington. Pately Bridge is a lovely little town with a decent pub that served a nice pint and great little Indian/Benagli restaurant around the corner. The room was spotless, bed comfy, and well worthy of its top ratings. The full breakfast was...

Some riders sale along the route not suffering a shower of rain or a puncture, and some get everything thrown at them driving rain, floods, injury, mechanical failure and diversions to name a few. That is the great thing about living in the UK, you don't know what's coming next. But we are in a good position in Pateley Bridge to...

Thanks to Steve and Lynn for a comfortable stay at Lyndale during the Yorkshire TdF. Very comfortable and clean room and bathroom. First class breakfasts and good advice on local eateries. Great location to explore the southern dales, but be warned cyclists steep hills on the way out of the village in every direction, one at 16%! We'll be back....

Great overnight stay after our first stint on the Way of the Roses. Central location, friendly hosts. Use of the kitchen and dining room if you want a take away rather than eating out. Good breakfast using local produce. Would recommend.
