In April we booked to host my Mum and dads 40th wedding anniversay celebration at El cabello as this is where my parent had their reception 40 years ago. The staff were fantastic and were very easy to deal with regards to hiring the venue etc. The Staff were amazing and very helpful throughout the entire weekend, their service was...

Staff less than helpful. Expensive for condition of property. Public bathroom needed dam good clean! Don't think the pink carpet or tiles had been cleaned in a long time. Sad. Could be a great place. Lovely drive out of perth. So much potential.

After reading reviews we were quite worried about staying here but it really wasn't that bad, yes the place Is rather dated decor wise but still comfortable and clean, beds were comfy, room was clean, shower hot, bath for the kids, air con and heater, shower and bath, tv, DVD player basic microwave, kettle, toaster. The room was well presented and the swimming pool was great. It was mid week and there was no bar, no restaurant not even for breakfast. If fact no one on site after about 6pm. We complained about the lack of service and were upgraded to a pool side room. An evening meal can be obtained about 20kms East at...

El Caballo Resort was a very 'special' place to visit when I was a child. I can still remember the grand buildings and the magnificent horses and spectacular shows and performances, coupled with beautiful grounds and surroundings. I am now 59 and looked eagerly to a Christmas function held at the resort to rekindle old memories. NOT!! Whilst we intended...

Out dated. Grounds were well below average. Room was musty but warm. Comfy bed. Front staff were uptight. One of the breakfast ladies was awesome the other very sour. Nope I would never go back or recommend.

We went here for a two night stay on a Scoopon. We got 2 nights accomodation, $30 off a dinner, cooked breakfast for two both days and a bottle of Gossips $4 wine in our room. The hotel was probably magnificent in the 70's but it is run down and not as clean and tidy as it should be. The...

We recently stayed here for two nights, and we did enjoy it. The staff were very friendly and sorted out our "no hot water" situation on the first night very efficiently and compensated us with a nice bottle of wine at dinner on the second night. The rooms have not updated since reopening, however, they are very comfortable and warm....
