Was here for 4 days, good for short business stays. Staff was super friendly. Food at the restaurant was good. Internet was reliable (better than in Kampala sometimes). Only issue was that shower was not working properly (no hot water and lower pressure).

I stayed here for 5 nights. Due to the breakdown of Lira's transformer, and the theft of a water pipe from it's main water source - both the power and the water were out for about a day and a half - but the staff at Kanberra were so friendly and kind that almost forgot about the issue! When the...

Scott, Kelly, and Judy recently stayed June-July of 2016 while visiting Otino Waa Children's Village. The accommodations were comfortable, the food exceptional, and the staff very friendly. It is within easy walking distance to Path Cafe. The road that parallels the lodge is being widened and improved.

Stayed at a few other places in Lira town, and this one outshone them all. A lot of places promise WiFiand hot water but don't...

Good value, clean, friendly and welcoming staff. We were on a charity funded working trip to the new University and this hotel was perfect. “We had room 13 which was a spacious double. It was quiet and also seemed to be a little cooler than the rooms on the other side of the hotel, probably because it was sheltered from the sun a little more. Room 11, 12, 13, or 14 are on the shady side.”
