Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Don’t listen to some negative reviews complaining about minor things (like emus should be fenced out) this place is amazing. RAC has really improved the site. The daily interactions with dolphins, great Bough Shed and Monkey Bar, best campers kitchen with cafe style seating.

What an overhyped waste of time. Waiting around for the guide to finish waffling on, to have them only feed 2 dolphins, no public interaction at all is allowed. I get the reason behind it is so dolphins don’t rely on humans for food, so maybe feed no dolphins and let them be. Really disappointed given WA tourism advertise a different experience. Not worth the drive. We stayed in Denham so cannot comment on the resort itself

So, forgetting the place is beautiful, which the RAC can’t take credit for; we look to the service and facilities. Staff were all very friendly although F&B appeared slightly short staffed. The new buildings and facilities looked great but made the older facilities look tired and unloved. We visited before summer/peak and the outdoor areas and furniture already needed a clean or repaint. En-suite shower rooms were fab BUT whomever speced the sinks needs sacking. Would stay again of course but would like to see a consistent standard of tidiness and care across the whole site and not just the new buildings.

Extremely well looked after property. We stayed on a powered site with ensuite and very happy with our choice. The annoying emu's that wandered into everyone's sites (trying to steal food) was the only reason why this was not a 5-star review.

The welcome was fine but the sliding doors are a problem as the design for locking them is ridiculous as witnessed by one of the hotel maintenance men who also tried to fix our in-room phone unsuccessfully as the internet is terrible. The beach side room itself (Bay Lodge) was modern, clean and well laid out with a BBQ on the spacious verandah. There are no laundry machines in the room but only communal ones. The François Péron National Park Tour with Aboriginal Guide, Casey, was fabulous and a must! The food in the main restaurant is satisfactory but the service poor.

Spent 2 nights in a beachfront apartment. We walked 30 steps to sit and read at a lovely beach and throughout the day dolphins just swam past so close to shore . I’m not even an animal lover , but this is a truly magical way to spend a day . Breakfast at the restaurant was surprisingly good and there is a fantastic new nature walk they have marked out . One night we also really enjoyed a bonfire and cultural evening with a local elder and there are lots of tours and excursions on offer . We certainly didn’t want to leave .

Fantastic place. Really enjoyed our three night stay. Could have stayed longer. Had a powered site. Plenty of room to reverse vans. TV point in the power box as can’t get TV with satellite. Monkey Bar happy hour 4-5. Restaurant was good value for breakfast. Wifi was also very good. Location is superb, dolphins are around all day. Staff friendly. Played mini golf.

Beautiful and well designed caravan park. Fantastic, clean amenities very well maintained by a couple of young Argentinians. Large, comfortable camping lots, nice restaurant, kitchen and recreation places. Wandering emus are the only negatives of the park. These wild animals should live in their environment and not search for food between caravans, tents leaving their droppings everywhere. Potentially dangerous. Bad idea!!!
