The hotel staff were very helpful, particularly as I had asked for adjoining rooms. Very clean and quiet, had a lovely view of a field with rabbits in. Breakfast was a simple selection and not over the top. The only let down was the bath in one of the rooms, it didn't work or I couldn't get it to work...

I have stayed at the Lambert probably a dozen time. I'm not going to be going back. It looks like a lovely place, however there are always let downs on every trip. When I complained, the response I got showed that they do not care about their customers and certainly don't want loyalty. Problems included: - No pillows in room...

This is the second time we have stayed at the Lambert Arms this year. We find the location very good for visiting family in the area. On both occasions, we stayed in an upper floor courtyard room. The rooms are relatively large, and satisfactorily furnished; though I feel there is a lot of room for improvement in the décor throughout...

I stayed there for four nights last week. The room was clean and comfortable - although it could have done with some more storage space (There was only one wardrobe with a drawer underneath - and half that space was taken up with a spare duvet, pillows, steam iron and hairdryer). The staff are brilliant. Food was erratic - some...

The staff are lovely and extremely helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent and if the teriyaki beef sizzler is on the menu...give it a whirl it's lovely and very tasty. Excellent position! Very near the M40 with no noise! Breakfast was plentiful, but, each morning there was something missing......be it glasses for juice.....bowls for cereal.....or milk for...

We spent two nights in this lovely hotel. All the staff were very efficient and friendly and our courtyard room was large, comfortable and very clean, the only complaint was the lighting which was very poor and made reading difficult. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent as was the breakfast. Would definitely stay again...

Stayed for one night. Large bed, a little soft for my personal taste, but not uncomfortable. Not much in the way of furnishings, bed, small table, one chair and dressing table. Room was large and clean. In fact it had quite obviously been very recently refurbished. The clue was a very overpowering smell of paint. That said a popular place...

We have two well behaved dogs. Hotel was very welcoming. The old road to Lewknor under the M40 good for emergency walks and the Chiltern Ridge nearby for proper ones. The staff are extrememly friendly. My wife and I walking and running were late for breakfast but nothing was too much trouble. All the staff friendly and thoughful and courteous....

First of all, the score for this hotel was incredibly difficult to give as it varied greatly. The location is just beautiful, with a view of the English countryscape surrounding it and nature close by. The staff was extraordinary friendly, helpful and nice, 10/10. Especially the manager and the receptionist Rhianna brightened my day. The hotel itself was beautiful too,...
