We stayed in the hotel for one night before our early visit to the Colca canyon. Came and left by car, so no input on location, though the views from the hill where the hotel is located are just great. The receptionist Alejandro surprised us pleasantly with his level of English. Our room was unusually decorated in rustic style. Everything...

stayed at the hotel for only one night as part of a trip to colca canyon. the hotel is in chivay, 2-3 mins by car away from hot springs. by foot it is probably 30 mins (some uphil sections). the center of chivay is similar, but in a different direction. the staff was nice and the person at the reception...

We spent one night at this hotel and, although our room was a bit old, we found it comfortable. The heater was ok, there were electric blankets and hot water was available at every hours and this is the most important thing when you sleep at 3600 meters of elevation. Breakfast was quite good. The hotel is just outside the...

Stayed here for one night as part of a group tour with Explore Holidays. There probably isn't a huge choice of accommodation in Chivay but this is a great hotel, albeit relatively simple, with characterful rooms with heating and electric blankets - necessary for nights in October. Would have been good if there was a heater in the bathroom but...

We were here with friends, the room that I booked was cleaned and its decor excellent. People at reception nice and friendly. All rooms are spread around the main building and all of them has an impressive view of Colca and Chivay places. Rooms are well installed with calefaction, electric blankets and all inclusive services. Thanks for your hospitality!!! When...

The hotel is a little tired in terms of its decor, however, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is good. Breakfast opens early to support those who want early starts which is good. Some of the rooms are up steep and narrow staircases, so if that is an issue, mention it at check-in. Don't worry...

The location is great, just on the other side of the Colca river overlooking Chivay. The hotel itself is average at most. Staff at reception was not very welcoming, rooms dated and windows couldn't be opened. The meals in the restaurant were rather disappointing.

It was nice staying here. the rooms are spread around the main building and have great view on the surrounding area. The rooms are nice and well maintained. The restaurant of the hotel is also good. Highly recommended. Wifi was available and well working,

Basic rooms arranged around a charming courtyard. It's a short walk to town - down the hill and across the bridge - where I enjoyed roaming the evening market. The restaurant has a fine view but I was unimpressed with the food. Some of my tour-mates stayed in higher-end lodges in the area, but I found this a fine option...
