Very convenient hotel with super views. The owner is very helpful and makes a delicious breakfast! Not many can make good scrambled eggs. Would recommend if in the area as a very reasonable price for accommodation in Burnham on Crouch.

Went here for a night away for my wifes Birthday, had visited before and eaten with my kids. Arrived and was pleasantly greeted and shown to room, which was nice and large. This was the double bed with four poster and a view over the River. We popped down for a bite to lunch, very nice baguettes and then took...

we went here for lunch and wish we hadn't bothered. Everyone seemed to be waiting for around 40 minutes for their lunch. When my lunch came it was burnt and had no taste to it. When I looked around it looked like it could do with a bit of a clean. Sorry wont be back not for me

We went here on a very cold day just as they were opening. I had scampi & chips and my significant other (husband), had all-day breakfast. We were the first ones asking for the menu and the food was served promptly and cooked to perfection. I like to have the scampi here as they give you more than most restaurants....

We stayed in the triple room which was very clean and comfortable. The floor slopes due to the age of the building and you can be forgiven for thinking you're drunk. But look out when you are! Clive was a really friendly and chatty man. Would stay here agian if we were in that area

We stayed here 2 years ago for another family wedding and left a positive review but sadly this review is the opposite,on arrival we waited in the bar area for 5 minutes before anyone came,a young lad appeared and seemed more interested in receiving the balance of our payment rather than anything else,we were shown up the stair to be...
