This hotel is a rather cheap place in the centre of Mbarara, and rooms at the street side are rather noisy (lorries, dogs, motos... ); The rooms are small , bathrooms ok, (might lack hot water!!) and the breakfast is ok. The food served in the evening was ok as well.. and what else do you want for 25 US$...

I have slept at Oxford a couple of times before but this last experience was so horrible , chances of me coming back are zero!!!!! We found the main Oxford full and we were referred to the Annex for 2 nights . After the first night we left our room key behind so that it can be cleaned , the...

A friend recommended the hotel. We checked in, found the manager who seemed to be overly nice. We should have taken note of that! We booked in for 4 nights with a caveat that we may leave a day earlier and asked if they will be able to refund our one night just in case. They were insisting we pay...

Stopped in here and checked out the rooms. There is no air conditioning, but there is a small fan. The rooms were extremely noisy due to street traffic and bad windows. The guy assured me that the noise stopped around 10 pm so we decided to stay one night. The night club very close to the hotel was extremely loud...

I stayed in this hotel recently. Located in heart of Mbarara town. I just walked in and booked my room. Rooms are big and neat. Nice beds and furniture. The rooms are a bit noisy from the sounds from nearby road and clubs around them. But it is manageable. Room service is fast and efficient. The restaurant is good. The...

We booked a deluxe twin room on Jovago. On arrival, the front desk manager hurriedly took the pricelist off the front desk table. We did not think much of this at first but it became very apparent why a bit later. More about that in a bit. We checked in and was shown to our room. The room was quite...

Upon arrival at the Oxford, the staff took use to collect our bags at no charge, and showed us to 2 rooms with balconies overlooking the road....

We arrived in Mbarara late and headed to Oxford Inn. The rooms look OK and quite spacious but before long the inevitable power cut occurred and I found my room to be right beside the extremely noisy generator which needs housing urgently. It was so bad I went to reception and 4.30 am when it came on and asked to...
