Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our overnight stay with Michelle and David was the start of a driving tour of northern Scotland. We could not have started better. We received a warm welcome, had a clean and comfortabe room, enjoyed a gourmet breakfast and had the chance to see the farm operations. We enjoyed talking with Michelle, and she and David treated us like old friends. They especially welcomed my daughter, who loved the farm setting. The setting is just gorgeous, too. We could have spent the whoe trip there!

Both myself and my wife arrived early in the afternoon , we where greeted by a very delightful lady who showed us to our room spoke about herself her husband and the local area. However that was nothing on how delighted we were when we seen our accommodation very spacious modern very very clean. We had a few requests and nothing seem to be a problem. This is a must if you are staying in this area

And by the way we haven't even spent the evening yet nor breakfast but felt we needed to give this a 5 star review

This B&B is excellent!
The setting is fantastic, with a quiet night guaranteed. The rooms are spotless and the beds very comfortable. The en-suite was of a good size with a great shower. The breakfast they serve is simply wonderful. The sausages and bacon are amazing, and a lovely touch is homemade bread and jam on offer. Michelle and Dave are two very special people who go out of their way to make your stay perfect! This B&B is a true gem.

Wish we could have stayed another night. We loved Michelle and David, so friendly, and funny! They totally made me laugh. Our room was big and bright with lots of windows, the bathroom was enormous. Best breakfast we had, lots of fruit, juices, bread and cooked breakfast as well.

We stayed here on New Year's Eve as part of a larger group visiting Stonehaven to enjoy the town's annual New Year festivities.
We received a warm welcome and the accommodation was first class. Spotlessly clean and all the facilities you would need for a comfortable stay.
The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and catered for all needs. With particular mention going to the home-made breads and jams.

We stayed here last year about this time. (End of October). We arrived very, very late because there was a huge snowstorm (and that is saying something when a Canadian thinks it is a huge snowstorm).

The owners made us feel like arriving so late was no problem whatsoever. The room was lovely, spacious and very new. Cookies and tea were muchly appreciated because we had missed dinner. The breakfast and breakfast room were great.

Overall a wonderful experience!

Michelle and David were very friendly and their B&B comfortable and modern. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious with haggis and black pudding for those who wanted them.

David's recommendation for an evening meal was perfect (see separate review of The Creel Inn).

Only stayed for one night, but was very impressed. Lovely room with huge bathroom and a giant walk-in wardrobe. Great breakfast - I was made very welcome. I had struggled to find accomodation in Aberdeen, but it was worth all the hassle to find this wee gem.
