The decor of the room was very much to my liking, as I also had to work. The room and ensuite were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was top class, and Michelle and Dave were wonderful hosts, such that the guests also echoed very nice pleasantries in the morning over breakfast.
I will certainly stay here again.
They recommended a local pub for dinner that served wonderful fish and seafood dishes.
It was a perfect place for me to stay having explored Aberdeenshire and before heading off towards the West Coast.
I'd happily drive all the way back there from Manchester just to experience their hospitality again!

We had a super trip out to Dunnottar Castle which everyone thoroughly enjoyed … even the 20 year olds, highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
Thank you so much, we’ll be back!!
We were met by Michelle, who had put us in the same room we were in last time we visited, which we were pleased with, there was already fresh milk and homemade shortbread for us, ginger cake the next day, then rocky road slices.
Michelle makes most of her breakfast food from scratch, pancakes, jam, 3 types of bread, granola, even the bacon is cured on site.
It’s a great experience and I can’t stress how welcomed you are made to feel.
We stayed from Friday until Monday, when Monday came we both really didn’t want to leave.
I highly recommend Chapel of Barra B&B, thanks again for making our stay unforgettable, we’ll be back again.
Take care thinking of you both. Keep well until we come back again x
