I apologise for this very late response to your review and hope that a full recovery has been made. What a nightmare experience to have on holiday and hopefully it will not leave you with bad memories of Scotland. Unfortunately I could only help a little as I was somewhat incapacitated at the time, but at least you had somewhere... More

This was my first time to Stonehaven, which is a beautiful town. Diana was a great hostess, warm and welcoming, provided me with information of places to visit in the area. The b&b was stunning and clean, bedroom was cosy and I had a great nights sleep during my two nights stay. Breakfast was lovely, nice fresh coffee and Diana... More

Our hostess was cheerful and extremely helpful and allowed us to check in earlier than planned. We loved the fluffy omelet and the Scottish pancakes. Our room was a bit crowded as it had a king bed plus a single bed. However it did have it's own bathroom. We could highly recommend this to anyone coming to Stonehaven.

We did a week long driving tour of England and Scotland and stayed in B&Bs each night. I am posting a review on each. To be honest, there was not a lot of difference from one to the other. [And that is a good thing.] All were in same price range, had friendly hosts, well organized reservations, and –of course... More

My husband, myself and a friend were in the beautiful town of Stonehaven for two nights and are wishing it could have been longer. When we left I didn't check the closet and didn't know that I had left all my trousers hanging up in there until Diana came up to me at the train station just as the train... More

Thank you for remembering your stay. Sometimes we have to go above the call of duty but fortunately the railway station is not far away, so it was no trouble to bring the trousers!!.I hope you enjoyed the rest of your Scottish holiday and thank you for a great review. More

Excellent! Mrs Glennie was our late night angel. No vacancies anywhere in Aberdeen and Stonehaven, but she let us in although she had her free day. The house and the rooms are very charming. Thanks so much!

Thank you for your complimentary review. I certainly couldn't turn you away, knowing that I had a room. I had decided to have an evening off in preparation for a full house booking for the following 4 nights. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. More

This has to be the best B&B I have ever stayed at. I stayed there for 14 weeks for three nights and there was never a problem. Excellent location for walking into town - to some good local restaurants recommended by Diana when I first got there way back in May.

We stayed in Stonehave for one night. The room was great and clean. Breakfast was also very good, especially the pancakes were a nice change to all the haggis and black pudding, lol. The bathroom was ancient and in need of an update, but clean nonetheless.. The host was informative and able to tell a lot about the town, things... More

Comfortable room with nice en-suite shower room. Excellent breakfasts and a very welcoming ambience. We used this as a base for research into family history, mainly in Aberdeen, so proximity to the railway station was helpful. Husband enjoyed a couple of days walking in The Cairngorms, about 1 hour drive away.

As soon as we arrived we were made welcome. Diana is a mine of local information, a veritable tourist information office'! The house is beautiful Edwardian style with furniture to match. Absolutely spotless. Facilities in our room (4) were excellent with a chaise longue in the window. Bathroom is spotless. Small extras such as bottles of water and biscuits everyday... More
