I wish that the proprietors of every other B&B I have ever stayed in could come here to see how it should be done. Christine and Ron are excellent hosts and have designed everything to make it feel like a home away from home. Very clever design made me feel like I was the only one there, even though they...

Can only say this comes into my top of the b&bs. A really warm welcome awaited us and hospitality could not have been better. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Ron &christine were really friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, sometimes beyond what is expected of b&b proprietors. Nothing seemed to be a bother to...

Lovely place, only a few miles from Stonehaven and Aberdeen. Ron & Christine were excellent hosts... Ron even washed off the bird poo on the car! Rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent... and I liked that we ate in the kitchen and was able to talk with Christine. Christine also gave us an excellent recommendation for...

We were looking for something in the Aberdeen Area. It took me some digging to find Christine & Ron's home but it was worth every minute. From the time you walk in the door to the time you leave you feel like you're part of the family. Location is everything with this guest house. Away from the city but close...

We stayed at Schonwald during our trip around Scotland. After realising how expensive it was to stay the night at Aberdeen, we were lucky to find this lovely b&b. After reading some great reviews we were not disappointed. Christine and Ron are very welcoming and generous hosts throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable with great amenities. Christine's...

We stayed at this lovely B. & B. on our recent trip around Scotland. It is located 5 miles outside Stonehaven in a very quiet country setting. Our room was very large and had a queen bed, wardrobe, desk, easy chair, T.V. and a good sized bathroom and shower. There is also a separate lounge for guests with a larger...

Schonwald B&B would be worth a stay just to meet the hosts. They were the nicest people ever. Really treated you like you were part of the family, a beloved part. Best breakfast during the whole trip. The entire place was immaculate. Loved the strong water pressure in the shower! Although in a rural location, there was a great restaurant...

We stayed here three nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had a bit of trouble finding it initially and when we called, the owner drove to where we were and escorted us in. He helped us with our luggage and immediately gave us advice of places close by to have dinner. This is a very nice B&B in the countryside...
