We just spent two nights there and were very dissapointed. It was supposed to be a charming historical building and the reality is far from it!! We paid over 100 pounds per night for a room which was so tiny that we had to squeeze in between luggage and the bed. The bed is right next to the radiator which...

Just driving home and stopped at the beautiful seaside town of Stonehaven, the ship in serves great food, we only had the Cullen skink, sandwich and chips, it was very nice plus I could see what the other customers were having and I'll be back soon, plus the service was excellent ☺

I think Stonehaven and the old harbour is a fascinating place. A full moon and a gale added to the atmosphere during dinner at our window table. A warm welcome, a warm pub & restaurant, nice room with a modern en suite bathroom. Full breakfast and then a taxi to the train station for a direct service to Dyce. A...

My husband and I stayed at the Ships Inn for one night. The accommodations were simple but clean. People were pleasant and the town is darling. We had a harbor view room with a large bed and adequate bathroom. The room had a television and internet is free. The Inn is part of a pub/restaurant which was fun and the...

Nice room, very clean, but a bit of a squeeze with double bunk squeezed in, preventing the bathroom door from opening fully. I can see the commercial imperative for this, but not great if you are not a family.

We do only have one cot, and this has always been the case, so there is no way that you would have been told otherwise if you did, indeed, phone about the matter. We confirmed in writing that we would provide a cot for one of the rooms, the other room (a family room) has a single bed which we...

I stayed at the Ship Inn for four days. It was glorious ! The inn faces Stonehaven harbour and I was privy to spectacular sunrises each morning, quacking ducks and seagulls. My room was small but cozy. Very clean. The staff was so friendly and ready to help. I had a delicious breakfast each morning and the food in the...
