The host was very helpful and polite. The breakfast was better than in a 5* Hotel. The room was big, clean and cosy.It s 2 km from the nearest village but we still liked it very much.It s near to fort Augustus and near to Urquhart Castle.

I stayed at Moriston House while biking from Isle of Skye to Inverness. The property is located next to a beautiful stream and surrounded by trees. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and Suzanne and Ali were warm and gracious hosts. Suzanne made the most delicious dinner! Breakfast was also amazing and beautifully laid out. I stayed in... More

We stayed one night at Moriston House and found it extremely comfortable. The room was large with an en suite bathroom. Sue made us a delicious breakfast. She has three rambunctious dogs that are sweet but very active and want to greet the guests. We found out the town is very small, with only one place that serves dinner, so... More

The house is easy approachable if you on the road trip from Inverness to Fort Augustus/Fort William. If you have planned to visit Eilean Donan Castle (if you haven't, you should), Suzanne's house is the best place where you can stretch your legs and start the next day with delicious breakfast. We booked the room in Moriston House just few... More

What a great find! Stayed here with my 13 year old daughter when walking the Great Glen Way in July. The room was large, clean and extremely comfortable with a big en-suite too. Breakfast was extensive and just what we were after to set us up for a day's walking and we also had our dinner here one evening -... More

What an amazing hospitality! After traveling across Scotland in the past two weeks with my girlfriend, staying in numerous B&B's i would confidently state that this was our favorite. Suzanne made us feel at home in her quite and beautiful B&B, welcoming us when we arrived very late with a huge smile, generously taking care of all our requests (... More

On the way from Loch Ness to Skye my husband and I stayed at Moriston House - what a marvel it is! We had read excellent reviews, but the reality was beyond our expectations! It was rather a stay with friends than an overnight in a hotel or B&B. Beautiful cozy spacious room overlooking the Moriston river and the lawn... More
