As a travel club member I thought the service in our rooms would be the same as the lady Hamilton side but most definitely it was not. The attention to detail in our room was lacking such as no fresh towels daily , no robes or slippers and had to keep asking for them to keep replenishing our toiletries
Best vacation ever and Amoya ( entertainment team ) was awesome and took great care of us. The food was delicious and the entertainment was great with some great music. Roy was a great bartender and served us some great drinks.
I thought the food and drinks were great, lots to select from and the resort is very big.....the staff was friendly ....and the beach and pool areas were nice.....had a lot of entertainment....but, the rooms are dated and not kept up well .... we had water in our bathroom on the floor the whole time and called maintenance and they looked at , said it was from the rain (even though there had not been any in the 5 days we were there thus far) and walked out.... I had a problem with my new dress getting ruined on their bench because nails were sticking up at the mexican restaurant , happened right in front of the waitress and they did nothing.... they did not care any time you had a problem to fix it .... they told me 3 times a manager would call me and they never did.... probably because I didn't buy into the "time share" …
Ten years ago we found this ideal property with the best Jamaica had to offer. We returned with family and friends two more times. But, after this last trip 12/23/21-1/01/22 it would be our last. Lacking in so many ways....food, beverage offerings and property conditions. The staff members are great but from what we saw of management, they need proper managing. It is so obvious Grand Palladium puts nothing into upgrading or even maintaining the property. The place is beautiful at night and from afar....but so is the moon. The food is bland and mediocre.Dinner reservation don't exist...it's first come, first served. Most bartenders do Rum Punch and Rum N Coke but are clueless about simple things like a Moscow Mule, Mojitos and mixing ratios for Martinis and Cocktails. They also do not have a bar menu...big tip off. Food temp is mostly cool, coffee barely warm and water icy cold. Bland fruit, little local foods and over done chicken. Jamaica's weather is beautiful and the wait staff and property keeper always have a kind smile. If this is all Grand Palladium has to offer guests at this point, I don't mind paying to keep folks employed but guests also need to get something in return.…
I love it here. As our first visit it was amazing. Perfect distance from everything and such a beautiful stay! Rooms are so comfy and the food is so amazing! If you need anything.. go to Remi. For the best company and a great friend see Amoya! She becomes family! Do yourself the biggest favor and ride the BUBBA tubing raft. Laughed till I cried. Job well done everyone! Thank you for the hospitality!
