The pousada (bed & breakfast) offers very simple amenities (a ceiling fan, a wardrobe, a private bathroom and a tv on request) and this was the only reason why I rated it 3/5 instead of 4/5. Otherwise, it is clean, the owners are nice and the place is pleasant. The pousada has a very unique location: It is unrivalled if you want to watch the famous sunset at Praia de Jacare and spend the night there. However, the location is far from good if you want to spend time at João Pessoa.
If you do not have a car, you can go to João Pessoa by either taking a bus from the bus stop on the highway (you would need to walk 15 minutes to Intermares neighborhood) or take a taxi from the Jacare beach (35-50 Reais to Tambaú).
Don't forget to bring a deterrent against mosquitoes.
