Great to be away from it all and relax for our 18th wedding anniversary. This place never disappointes. The view, the spa, the hot bread in the morning. The peace and quiet. Thankyou Chris and Angela for your hospality. We stayed in the wallaby for our second time.
The view, the chalet, the little touches like the sweet treats and champagne - combined with the serenity of the location was perfect for our mini getaway from the real world. Thank you Angela & Chris for the perfect escape.
We stayed in the Wallaby Chalet for two nights for a weekend getaway. The little gift pack on arrival was a nice touch. The chalet was very cosy and very private. We were quite comfortable staying in the entire weekend. The spa had awesome views and was not over chlorinated. We chose to self cater, and made use of the BBQ both nights. The kitchenette was well appointed. Although the fireplace is gas, it warmed the chalet adequately and we were not cold at all. The bed was comfortable. CD collection provided was good. Angela and Chris were very welcoming and were perfect hosts.
We stayed in the Eagle Chalet and everything about our stay here was fantastic. We loved the peacefulness and beautiful views. Our hosts Angela and Chris were very welcoming and provided very generous breakfast supplies and snacks. The cabin was very romantic and cozy we wished we could have stayed longer.
My husband and I had such a wonderful time staying in the Wallaby Chalet at The Peak. It’s a gorgeous little cottage with everything you need. The gas fireplace is warm and inviting, and there are lovely vistas out of every window - including from the room housing the hot tub! The chalets are quite separate so they’re completely private, and you can leave and return as you like. The place has an overall aura of cosy relaxation, which is perfect for a couples’ getaway, especially if you opt for one of the luxury packages with terrific massages and a loaf of hot, freshly-baked bread on your doorstep in the morning. You might even met the local wildlife while you’re here! We had the pleasure of seeing a wombat on the first night and mob of kangaroos making their way across the landscape on our last morning, and it was just the cherry on top of an already delightful sundae. The Peak is exactly what we were looking for, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We will certainly be returning!…
