The place is beautiful and sweet! Its situated a bit outside of mae chaeng but easy to find if youre coming from doi ithanon - its even a bit closer than mae chaem. the Price was THB1000 incl. breakfast (you can choose between American, Pancakes and local) which was a bit pricey for us (backpacking) but for one night its... Bit tired and old, could do with a complete overhaul! Nice spot, quiet but bungalows need serious paint up and overhaul, im sure this place could be brilliant with a bit of tlc but im afraid i honestly think its had its day!

Navasoung Resort Mae Chaem. Nice, traquill resort near Mae Chaem town. Nice clean cottages, little worn but really ok. Swimming pool with stunning views. Pool is the place to be with beer in the evening after long biking day! Really friendly staff. Good thai food from restaurant. Parking for motorbikes/cars.

I like to think I'm a easy going person and can deal with most things but this place is far from being a resort. It's tatty, dirty, and the bathroom was absolutely dire,so much so we couldn't use the shower at all. The owner was pleasant enough and I was going to tell him the next day but he had... More

An extended family of mosquitos were in residence when we arrived in room 125 of this tired and tatty resort, which was so far away from reception we required the assistance of the resident "sherpa" with our bags. This distance from reception also meant there was no wi fi. The furniture in the room is extremely old and rickety. The... More

We booked the property having read the below reviews, having stayed there I can state that to pretend that this property is anything other than a lost labour of love in very sad decline is foolish - a comparison of the 'official' photos supplied during the Resort's heyday with the actual scenes will tell you this. That said we were,... More

Travelling back roads of Northern Thailand, and this accommodation (it's not a resort) was just great. Bedroom was clean; AC worked (although cool enough not to need it); hot water fine, beds comfy, sheets good, even water in the fridge. I would say they are reviewing trip advisor reports and trying to address issues. Which is great. Not many people... More

After ignoring the SatNav, who wanted to take us around the Mountains, we travelled narrow hairpin roads through Doi Inthanon National Park to Mae Cheam. Not for nervous traveller ! Found Navasoung Resort on this back road on the way into the town. Enthusiasm and money created this once beautiful Resort in the Shadow of Doi Inthanon. Sadly, the Finnish... More

Sorry herbertbkk but you are wrong. Been around Asia for 5 years and not an ipod hopper. This place is well past its use by date. It would be quite acceptable at 300 B but not at the 800B asking rate. Rooms are fair, bathrooms at 300B standard. Aircon, not that you need it, but only blew room temp air... More

While the place seemed a bit let go in the off season it was still very nice. The owner is Finnish and has lived in Thailand for 30 yrs. He gave us a good deal on the bungalow w/ air con (500 baht) with breakfast included, and we were happy we stayed. It was quiet which was nice after a... More
