It's supposed to be cheap comparing it to other options for a double room with attached toilet, hot water and fan, but for sure you'll find a better deal around here. The toilet didn't work at all till evening of the last day (used a common toilet and the one of another room instead). The hot water never worked. Staff...

I have been travelling from Singapore to Chiang Rai for three weeks and this "hotel" is the worst of all. Shower was full of spider webs and the louvers in the door had a thick layer of dust. It would take 5 minutes to clean this but the manager does not care. The balcony overlooking the river is nice but...

We have been traveling in Thailand for 3 weeks and I can say this is the worst and most dirty hotel where we have been. I attach some pictures of the bed sheets and towels... judge by yourself! DISGUSTING! When we complain to the staff, suddenly no one speaks English and the manager can not be reached... they gave us...

Stayed here one night while doing the Mae Hong Son Loop on a motorcycle. Rooms are large, but toilets are basic. I felt cleanliness wasn't quite up to the mark. But it's location is good, and right on the riverside, and close to restaurants and bars. WiFi was free but connecting to it was a problem most of the time.

My girlfriend and I stayed in The Good View Guest house and paid £20 for the AC room. At first glance the room looked pleasant.. We later realised there was dirty bedding and also 2 geckos were in the room! After at least half an hour, we had caught both, and were able to relax.. So we thought, we then...

10 mins from bus station. We stayed there two nights. The fan room is in the basement. The room is basic but reasonable for such good view. We took an air con room behind the reception. Room is clean but a bit small with a big fridge in room. Large public area outside room and not noisy at night. Free...

Right on the river, this is a super place. The view is super and most rooms have a balcony giving this. The guesthouse is small and friendly and only a few years old. Rooms are nice and the staff are good.

We had a triple room, so it was at the front, no view there. We were only there one night so not worried. The rooms on the ground floor that led to the balcony are not particularly private as that is where you have breakfast, probably upstairs is better. The place next door looks good, but possibly more expensive. Laid back...

Checked several guesthouses in Mae Sariang for a one night stopover while driving the Mae Hong Son loop from south to north. Their are a range of guesthouss along the river and downtown, prices from 200 baht and up. The Goodview was very clean and they do come down on their prices depending on how busy/full they are. They went...

“They offer different rooms types for what you wanted to pay. My budget was low I stated the price I wanted to pay and they agreed.”

“Make sure you book a room either on the very bottom floor (2 floors, 6 rooms on each) OR at the furthest right hand side room as possible (I think room numbers from 5 or 6 on). When diners have breakfast, they drag the wooden chairs across the wooden floors and if you're directly underneath and like a sleep in, you won't be asleep for long.”
