Lotus 1 in Borobudur is one of the top 10 absolutely worst places I´v ever stayed on. The place is really dirty. Not just little dirty but really really dirty. Old garbage under the bed, filthy bathroom with just a hose for shower and probably a lot of people have slept in the sheets. It was probably a quite good...

I stayed there for 2 nights. The highlights are the view from the upper room balcony, the staff and the breakfast that included fresh fruit. The rooms are large but pretty dark, no reading light, bed OK with mosquito net, bathroom could use a lot more cleaning and the water pressure is terrible, and when I woke up the first...

March 2012 , Stayed in Lotus II for 3 nights and it was just pure heaven, it was a little out of my budget (USD6) but after roughing it out for almost 3 months I needed a treat and this place was just what I needed, I got a double room with a fantastic bed , toilet and shower attached,...

This guest house is excellent value the staff were very friendly and made our stay enjoyable and relaxed it's right across the road from Borobudur and you can wake early to see the sunrise at Borobudur without having to be up at 3 and missing the lunch and afternoon crowds rooms are basic but I would highly recommend this place

I stayed here at the end of July 2010. I really really wanted to get into Lotus II but didn't phone far enough ahead. I decided to just suck it up and stay at Lotus 1 because I wanted to do a Jaker tour. We stayed in one of the upper floor rooms with AC. My husband votes it not...

Lotus2 rooms are spacious but quite simple, so they are not the main attraction (although they offer good value for money). The main highlight is the young team looking after this guesthouse, they did not spare their efforts to make us feel good. We did not use any tour through them, but received precious tips on the region, got a...

My wife and I stayed in Lotus II for a couple nights on our trip to Borobudur. We could not have been happier with our stay! We stayed in the room on the first floor which was incredibly spacious for two people. It has air-con and a private bathroom with hot shower. It also has a sitting room with a...

This hostel was the highlight of my trip to Yogyakarta. I felt lucky that I decided to stay for a night at Borobudor, in this hostel. I stayed in Lotus 2. It was part of the local community called Jaker to help local people benefit from tourism and help us to interact with them. They organized special trips. It was...

I stayed at the Lotus II guesthouse with my family we had two ground floor rooms. My mother and brother had the room over looking the sawah with a sitting room and a large lovely room with twin double beds. All was nice except the bathroom which smelled and meant they were traipsing across the reception area to our bedroom...
