The location of the hotel is near to the entrance of the Borobudur Temple and walking distance to the main street of Borobudur Town. The staff are friendly and able to speak good English. The facilities are adequate. The breakfast is fantastic. The design of the room is beautiful but the workmanship is awful and need maintenance and refurbishment, for example, people can easily peep inside the room through a crevice in the door or the wall, the toilet floor can be easily get dirty. There are giant ants in the toilet too.

Love the interior of the room and bathroom. It's few kilometers away from the Borobudur Temple. We arrived early before the usual check in time at the property then we requested if we can check in early and they allowed us. The staffs were not that fluent in speaking English but they try their best. I appreciate the quality of service the staffs had provided us.

Tbh I stay in this Villa cause Villa Cempaka 1 already full booked. For a second, i thought it was just a regular house cause its so different than villa cempaka mas 1. The locateion not so far from Borobudur, approximately 5 minutes walk and the location of villa slightly entered the hallway. For the room, I was quite satisfied and happy, so quiet and feel peaceful. Each room had a large glass wall, small room but comfortable. Especially for the bathroom, I really enjoy waste my time in this room. In one building there are 2 bedroom villas, and in the middle there is a dining table to connects the room.I thinks is so perfect for family vacation. Overall I am comfortable stay in this villa. One more thing, the're officers so humble!

There is two chempaka villa in the same street. The chempaka villa 1 and 2 are totally with different standard in terms of facilities and the hotel exterior design. If you going to book chempaka villa, pls go with number 1 instead of 2. We choose chempaka villa 2 for our stay and the expectation was not there. Anyway, the hotel staff were friendly, she shared and assisted to book the ticket to borobodur temple (Manohara package at rupiah 400,000 pre person with refreshment provided and souvenir) for the sunrise. Wake up call available too!! the staff came and knock our door at 4am to ensure we are on time for the sunrise watch at the temple. They also send us to the temple by motorbike although it is just a short walking distance. Breakfast is available at this hotel (just don't expect too much).

Tour package available at this hotel too. We booked a car with driver to mount merapi and then return trip to yogjakarta city with 400,000 rupiah (included gasoline, driver, and parking fees), another 400,000 rupiah to rent a jeep to go up to the mount merapi.

Our hotel room key lock wasn't lock properly. the door will open with just a little push from outside although its locked from inside. Don't choose this hotel if you have sleeping problem from sound disturbance, because the sound proof at this hotel wasn't that good.
