First, folks, Lakshmi Vilas is 17 KILOMETERS away from the temple, not 7. as mentioned on their site. Heritage paintings and building lead it a great charm as do the quiet village environs. Staff is courteous by VERY POORLY trained. (It too us 45 minutes to get 4 tea bags, each being plonked in one's hand at 15 minutes or...

This hotel has been converted from a former government officer's residence and the associated farm buildings. The heritage rooms all lead off a central courtyard. They are basic but have a modern bathroom and air conditioning. There is a very comfortable "sit out" area next to reception, where tea and coffee could be served.Wi Fi is available in this area....

It's a large, old village home converted into a hotel. As a typical village home it is very pretty. The rooms are clean and spacious. The restaurant, if we can call...

The hotel is a very nice hotel where a little bit outside of the downtown. You can relax there and if you want to take part of a spiritual ceremony, besides is a temple. They start early in the morning, but it is not something that disturbs you by sleeping. Maybe could be for available a little more tourist information...

This place is a home stay and not a resort. Just because it has sprawling grounds and some greenery around it cannot be termed a resort. The basic amenities are very poor. The so called dining area is pathetic. Food is no good. The staff are not trained and very rustic in behaviour. In fact one of the staff was...

Although this was remote and a little difficult to find, the grounds were spacious and serene. The building itself had a "heritage" feeling, and the history of the place was interesting to read. We enjoyed our large room. Our only concern was around food. Complimentary breakfast was a little marginal in quality, and unless we ordered ahead of time, we...
