We stopped here for lunch on our way to the Ngorongoro Crater. Before lunch we took a hike to Elephant Caves, a great way to see the jungle stretch your legs after safari. The food was tops! The atmosphere incredible! Beautiful Place, a must see.

A luxurious hideaway used as a base to explore the Ngorongoro Crater. Accommodation is in thatched detached units a very short walk away from the main buildings where there is a small shop selling items produced by local traditional craftspeople as well as the restaurant and main reception. Our lodge was fitted out very well with an extremely comfortable bed,...

Our safari group stopped here for lunch on our way to Ngorongoro Crater. Delicious, true farm to table. Lots of organic vegetables. Especially loved the spinach torte. A walk around the grounds was stunning. Beautiful, romantic spot. If I am lucky enough to return one day, I will definitely stay in one of the cozy cabins.

There is much to do at Gibb's Farm, the best of which is nothing at all. LeAnn and Gerd were the quintessential hosts. I could go on and on about the staff, scenery and accommodations, but just book it. Two nights at a minimum, 3-6 would be ideal.
