Had only lunch - a couple - at Gibb´s Farm on our way to the Ngorongoro crater and the local lodge. We were impressed by the beauty, marvellous landscaping and ambiance of the place. Birds flying all around, even in the sumptuous washrooms. Wished to have spent at least one night at the farm. Buffet lunch with a variety of...

Dear Ernando, Greetings from Gibb's Farm and thank you for your kind words. What a shame you did not have more time to spend with us here at Gibb's but at least you had the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful farmhouse lunch offering, brimming with organic homegrown vegetables. Thank you for visiting and we hope to be able to welcome...

Lovely suite with comfortable bed, indoor and outdoor showers, brilliant gardens (vegetable and flower), farm-to-table food of which there is far too much. Personnel very welcoming and service was attentive/friendly without going over board. Only disadvantage is that it takes a while to get to Ngorongoro Crater....essentially a good hour each way just to get down. So some might choose...

...go to Gibb's Farm. It is the ultimate oasis, a wonderful hideaway - if only it weren't so far away! We stayed here for 3 nights during our 2 week safari, and it was by far the most relaxing and welcoming of our stays. The cottages are thoughtfully placed for privacy and beautifully designed and appointed. I have never been...

We stayed at Gibbs Farm in order to visit the Ngorongoro Crater. It is an exceptional property with 18 large cottages. We stayed in the Morani cottage which was close to the main farmhouse with dining courtyards and restaurant, bar, gift shop and art gallery. Everything is top notch. We toured the 10-acre vegetable garden and then ate very fresh...

This working farm is absolutely gorgeous. Over 95% of what is consumed by guests and employees is grown/harvested on the property. You can select and pick your veggies for lunch or dinner, if you wish. The people are wonderfully warm and so happy to serve. Whether it's the fellow who walks all the way to our room to take our...

Gibb's Farm is a magical combination of old world charm and amazing views. It's like stepping back in time to a gentler world. A wonderful place to stop en-route to Ngorongoro, worth a whole days stay to experience a range of activities from helping on the organic farm, visiting the local school to hiking to a nearby waterfall. Evenings around...

It was an amazing place to grab a few days of feeling totally pampered and relaxed. LOVED meeting the two Ridgeback pups on site too - what a bonus. Gerd was so nice and engaging, made us feel like family. Bringing a big group back to Tanzania next year and want to be sure we come and stay again. The...

We stayed here as a base to explore the Ngorongoro Crater. The staff, food and accommodation were all first rate and the grounds were lovely to walk around. It wasn't a 'typical' safari lodge nor was it trying to be. It has its own unique charm and put on a number of small experiences for guests ranging from bread making...

My girlfriend and I did not stay here, rather we enjoyed a lovely, romantic lunch on the veranda en route to our safari destination. First-class service and setting underscores every aspect of Gibb's Farm. The property is tremendously well maintained and offers a stunning setting that's sure to leave you staring outward in admiration. Our lunch was buffet full of...
