Our safari itinerary spent our first night here, 3 nights in the Serengeti and then 4 nights here. The staff is amazing. Nothing is too hard for them. The wifi in our room/area of the grounds didn't work and they spent day and night working on it to make it right. Every member of the staff just wants to please....

The main lodge is stunning and overlooks a coffee plantation and garden (most of the food served is grown on premises). The rooms/cottages are spacious (including a your own deck where you can enjoy...

After being on safari you drive into an oasis of calm:) We were warmly met with mimosas and snacks upon arrival. Bags magically appeared in our casita. Individual beautiful little casitas with a lovely interior and great bathrooms!

We stayed three nights at Kitela Lodge. One of the days we went to Lake Manyara National Park and one day we went to Ngorongoro Crater. The lodge was central located to visit both of these parks. It was also fairly close to the Lake Mahyara Airport where we flew to Serengeti after our stay. Every day when we arrived...

What an amazing surprise to visit this gorgeous lodge with spa. It reminded me of Costa Rica with its coffee plants and tropical landscape. I loved the hot water bottles for the beds, the claw tugged bathrooms and the cozy fireplaces. What topped off my visit was the massage I got from a woman named "Happiness". She definitely spread joy...
