On our trip through Italy we stayed in this B&B for 2 nights. The location just below Montichiello, the garden and the lovely breakfast are perfect. The rooms are also functional and clean.
The hosts take care of their guests.
Recommendable with very good value for money.

We stayed there for the second time and we immediately felt pampered, Guido is truly a wonderful person available for any need, not to mention the clean and well-kept house located under the walls of Montichiello. Excellent breakfast with savory and homemade desserts. We will definitely be back!!

Really nice location in Val D'orcia. Great wievs from every angle. Pienza only 10 minutes away. Very attentive staff. Cozy room with high standard.
Beautiful wiev from the garden. Big garden, quiet and green. You could wish that the leafblower would not be used before 9 AM thoug... :)

The only thing missing was a couple of wine glasses in the room. It would have been a nice touch. There is no supermarket nearby... good to know.

In general a really nice place!

Great place. Very clean. Excellent home made cakes at breakfast. Large private garden just outside the garden and an amazing view. 5 minutes by walk outside the tiny town. You can easily park the car not far from the house.

A special thank you to Giudo who pampered us and made our. special stay in Monticchiello. He also made us meet a gentleman who told us the story of our. great uncles. The farmhouse and the annex are all very beautiful and welcoming. The only discordant note was the aunt who, despite having been authorized for a work call, kicked us out rudely. Thanks again to Guido

Our two night stay with Maria and Guido was absolutely delightful. The warmth of their welcome was matched by the beautifully furnished, comfortable rooms. Views across the hills to Pienza in the distance were tuscan postcards come alive. Breakfast is included but it is served in the nearby La Porte restaurant. We dined each night at the restaurant, which is owned by locals with local wines and cheeses on the menu. The friendliness of the restaurant staff seemed like an extension of the welcoming of our hosts, Maria and Guido. The drive from Rome is only a couple of hours and the area is full of medieval hilltowns which transport your spirit into another world. If only we had a week to relax and enjoy the hospitality of Maria and Guido and the village of Monticchiello. The sunset over the hills with pencil pines outlining the roadways up the hills is breathtaking.Thank you from downunder. We were two couples travelling together from Australia..

Room Tip: For best view the flat in the garden is perfect. But both rooms are delightful.

Six of us stayed at this villa in monticchiello. the villa and grounds are absolutely beautiful. each room had its own bathroom. HUGE property. we used it as a home base as well as made dinner one night. we were there five days. Guido and his Aunt Sonia made us ALOT of coffee in the morning, we had yogurt, toast, pastries and eggs and bacon every morning. MOST importantly, our trip to this area could not have been as incredible without GUIDO helping us plan our itinerary, find drivers for friends dropping in, recommending villages, towns, restaurants, vineyards. We will miss this property but we will absolutely come back and visit these people. absolutely incredible place to stay.

My husband, daughter and son-in-law arrived Saturday June 22 (3 nights)and were cordially greeted and shown the property by Guido The house is immaculate and extremely well decorated We utilized the two en suite rooms in the main house and had use of the kitchen in the afternoon and evening. The highlight was having Simoneta prepare a private Tuscano dinner for us one night complete with regional wine Wifi is available and the exterior sitting areas are nicely landscaped with sweeping views. Breakfast is at a communal table with up to ten guests
They are very gracious and ever present to assist with any request
Private parking.
Excellent in all regards

We found the accommodation on-line, but did not book the accommodation on-line. We contacted the owner, Guido, once we were in Monticchiello, and he and his aunt arrived five minutes later. We then booked three nights in the garden cottage. It is lovely situation and location, just below the entrance to the walled medieval village, and the accommodation is very comfortable and well appointed. The hosts were thoughtful and kind, and Guido booked us into two very good local restaurants. Highly recommended.
