Alfredo was really helpful with my booking and everything was spot on when we arrived. We took two rooms next to each other and both were decorated beautifully. The twin bedroom had a jacuzzi bath and a shower. Both bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is lovely and the room it’s served in again clean and beautifully decorated. The whole property is spotless. Such a rare find, that I almost thought not to tell anyone because it’s unspoiled, so very clean and stunning. Will definitely return again and I really can’t recommend it enough.
I stayed here for 4 nights, while visiting family in a nearby town. Casa Do Lagar was once where olive oil was made and the owners have kept the machines they used on display in a tasteful way as a testament of its roots. Casa Do Lagar is new, modern, and very clean. The sweet owners are very friendly, and have obvious pride in their B&B. Included in the price was breakfast served for lodgers. There is a breakfast room to eat in and also a small bar, if you want a drink. The room I stayed in was very generous for 2 people. The queen size bed was very comfy, and plenty of pillows and extra blankets are given. There is flat screen TV with basic local channels. The bathroom is wonderful - large, with a stand up shower with jets and a keypad to have music playing. While the closet is a good size, please be aware there is no iron. There is air conditioning, though keep in mind it's Europe and may not be as strong as you're used to in the US. There is also no coffee machine or mini fridge in the room, though the premises has a fully equipped kitchen so they may let you keep things here.
