I wrote a review on the other page too as didn't realise there was 2... The staff here are always very welcoming and helpful. Great atmosphere in a great pub. The chicken is lovely and delicious. We recommend a visit

Stayed here in Nov for the Glastonbury winter carnival , we were put across the road in Blossom Cottages, We had an upstairs apartment , could easily sleep 4 , 1 x big double bedroom & a settee bed in the 2nd bedroom , so @ £89 for one of the busiest weekends , no bad, But the whole place...

Good Afternoon Martin H, Blossom cottages are very large rooms and I am glad you found our pricing good. These are located across the road but they are quiet as set back and have parking right outside. We hope you enjoyed the carnival (despite the rain!) and will come again next year Thank you Jo Shopland General Manager

I booked a room online. The pics looked quaint and the price was within the £60 limit allowed by my company. This included breakfast so looked good value for money. After check in I was shown across the road to what is probably the "cheaper" rooms for business travellers. I hate that. If you like the look of a hotel...

Hi Gavin H, When a room is booked online, they auto-allocate to the Blossom Cottages first and then work up to the main building depending on availability and room requirements. Booking direct can ensure you get a room, where you want. The building has been standing since 1864 so is old but well equipped as you state. I am very...

Great location opposite Charles shopping village and within town centre. Warm welcome upon arrival, although arrived very early no problem in parking car at rear, free of charge. Cottage Room was very clean tidy and quite big. The food was excellent with a great choice for breakfast. Will look forward to staying here again.

The food is poor. The service is terrible. Customers are just ignored and left waiting for an age. Plates were left on tables all around us, including ours. Its a shame because the venue itself is actually quite pretty. Needs to be run better. Won't go back

Hi ShonaLondon, This does not sound like our usual levels of service and so I very much apologise but will investigate as why you experienced this. My team work hard, love their jobs and will do their very best to ensure guests are happy. Occasionally a table may leave before we have had chance to clear plates, a pet-hate of...

Had to wait an age for food and while we were there watched them turn people away without suggesting any other local places to eat. I thought they'd support each other! Oily food when it came and not enough staff...

Good Morning Alastair H, Sometimes when we are very busy we can have a delay on food but we will always keep you informed of this and try to keep to a minimum. I am unsure as to why the food was oily but am sure if my team were made aware they would have fixed for you. We never...
