The good points were the very fast and efficient catering staff. Meals were quite good but a poor choice for breakfast. A buffet would have been much better. Bathroom plumbing not so good - toilet flushing took forever; we did mention it but nothing was done. Room was very cold despite the radiator being on full. We were accidentally locked...

This really was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The hotel was inherently dangerous. The hand rails on the stairs were loose, there was no wallpaper on the walls in the corridor, the windows in our room opened fully wide, yet the bottom of the window was only about 18 inches above the floor. The floor in the bathroom...

Travelled to this hotel with 'just go' coach company for 5 days in January. On arrival our cases were taken to our room while tea, coffee and biscuits were available in the bar. Our room was a good size looking out to the back of the property onto a private house and gardens. Nice white towels and toiletries are provided....

The public areas of the hotel are very good, but some of the bedrooms are in need of a little TLC. The room that I had a four poster bed which was lovely. The wallpaper was torn in several places. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath, but the plumbing left a lot to be desired. The towel rail would only...

I stay in many hotels with my work so have lots to compare with. This is not a hotel I would choose for a break, other than the fact that the ballroom is excellent and we were visiting for a dance weekend. This is based on the standard of food offered if you are a vegetarian and the plumbing. Staff...

From the first moment we aarived for our five day stay things have been brilliant. A warm welcome from Charlotte in Reception, the comfortable feeling of "being at home" throughout our stay and the really super meals from the Chef and his staff.
