We came here for the first time in September 2016. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the hotel is very attractive, the bedrooms comfortable and clean - and the buffet breakfast wonderful, especially when you eat it on the verandah overlooking the harbour. We only stayed a week, but would definitely have stayed longer if we'd known how charming it...

Good room, nicely furnished. Linen and towels changed frequently. Excellent breakfast. The staff, particularly one, had the habit of screaming her orders like a banshee, but apart from that, was thoughtful and pleasant.

I have visited 27 different Greek Islands and also several places on the mainland, and have to say this was one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in in Greece. The view from the balcony of my top floor room took my breath away, and there were lots of nice little touches in the room such as a...

There's not much more than can be said about this wonderful, quaint hotel in the small village of Fourni, Greece. We had been on a 7 week Windstar Cruise then on a 10 day island excursions. This was our last destination that can only be reached by ferry service. From the ship upon arrival, it looked like a small lost...

Very nice hotel except for barking dogs and cockerels but hey, this is Greece. Accommodation well looked after every day and all very friendly. My gripe was the lack of transport around the island. No bus, 1 taxi (Georgos, nice guy, reasonable and very reliable), 1 excursion boat (pushy and in your face, everywhere in Fornoi town, not cheap) or...

If you are looking for nightlife and heavy tourism then Fourni is absoultely not for you. However if you want to get back to basics on an undeveloped island but still wanted to have a comfortable hotel then this is the one for you. The hotel was really good with clean and well furnished rooms. Rooms at the top have...

If you are reading this, you are likely planning a trip to one of Greece's lesser known islands. You should know that Fourni is not a resort of high-end hotels but rather a small fishing island that also happens to host tourists. The Hotel Archipelagos is probably the nicest hotel on the island -- clean room, friendly owner (who speaks...

We were extremely impressed with Hotel Archipelagos. The room was large, clean, with a very comfortable bed, balcony with view of the harbour, and a spacious well-kept bathroom with a bathtub! Service was excellent at this hotel - the owner picked us up at the port, cleaning was done meticulously every day, and the staff packed us a nice breakfast...

Very good service, considering this is a rural island. Very good breakfast based on local products. Relatively new, clean and offers all required amenities. Top floor rooms offer better view, at the expense of climbing a lot of steps...

it was a bit difficult to get there, as we took a ferry from the port of piraeus, and the voyage was quite long, we were advised that we could take an airplane to the nearby island of samos, and then take a ferry from there. i suspect the archipelagos hotel is the best choice for this island (actually it...
