I had the opportunity to stay at the Gaylord National Harbour Resort and convention center for a conference. The hotel staff was very friendly and very service oriented; they almost made us feel special. The hotel is extremely well designed, from an architecture, internal layout and external landscaping. It's really exceptional. The hotel has an immense internal atrium with a...

This is my first review of anything so here goes. My wife and I, who were recently married decided to stay one night at the Gaylord before going on our honeymoon later in the month. THIS PLACE WAS WONDERFUL. When we arrived the staff was very courteous and helpful in every way. Check in was a breeze and so was...

We have stayed at the Gaylord before and loved it. This time time our loyalty was rewarded with a room that we do not consider to follow building codes. The room's window had no direct sunlight and looked out on a corridor with a rusty light fixture, dirty glass and a men's room. The manager adjusted our rate a bit,...

Dear DavidTrip, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We truly value open and honest feedback on ways to improve our service, and refine “best practices” that we have failed to uphold. I am saddened to hear that some items compromised your experience. From the nature of your comments it appears that we have failed to provide...

Ok, so the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center has been around for 7 years and this is my first visit. Upon arrival, there is are 2 lanes for valet parking. Valet parking is $35.00 per night. Self parking is $24.00 per night, but the lot is a little ways from the resort so it's actually better to valet. The...

I visited the Gaylord National for a business trip in April. The rooms were nice enough. My atrium-view room was large and so was the bathroom. It was nice to have a balcony that overlooked the atrium area. The bed was mediocre at best. Also, there was only a shower; no bath tub. While I would give a 4 rating...

Very nice hotel, quite large. Staff friendly and room clean and comfortable. There are places to eat and drink inside the hotel , but the area is also full of places to have lunch or dinner. I was there for a convention, but this would be a great place to just visit. Very near Washington DC and Alexandria if you...

Great hotel, especially when decorated for Christmas. Kind of far from attractions in Washington if that is what you are looking for but location on the river is fantastic and beautiful. We found eating in the hotel prohibitively expensive do do often but there is a store with groceries across the street.

I was pleasantly surprised by the level of the accommodations here. Since we were staying for a volleyball tournament, I really was not expecting such a nice facility. I stayed here for a conference for a total of four nights. The room was comfortable enough but relatively standard for a "nice" hotel room. Nothing to write home about.
