My wife and I have just returned from a week’s stay at Neptune Pwani after a week in Kenya. On arrival at Zanzibar airport we wondered what we had done - it is literally the size of a Tesco Express! Our journey to Neptune was a real eye opener - absolute poverty on the pot-holed dirt tracks that are called...

From the minute we arrived at the resort we loved it. The rooms are clean, but standard with own private balcony and a small fridge stocked with cold water and cool drinks at all times, as well as a pumping (much needed!) air-con. Towels are replaced every day and the bed is prepared at night with mosquito net. The location...

We came for our honeymoon and spent 2 weeks in this hotel. The resort is beautifully situated & well maintained, I would like to highly recommend, the service and people are super friendly and always willing to help.. The food is excellent; there is option such as an Indian Restaurant, Thai, Italian & Seafood Restaurant (Exclusive) which is delicious .At...

From the moment we landed at Zanzibar until we left we were do well looked after by everybody we met. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are large and felt our bed was bigger than king size. The shower was powerful and the water hot. The grounds and beach were very clean. The service from the staff on the beach...

The beauty of Zanzibar is its rustic nature and history along with very friendly people. Lets deal with the brilliant aspects and the must do's Safari Blue - don't leave without doing this, Spice Tour, Stonetown Tour (with a guide is useful but be careful as you do tend to see all the guides friends stalls for shopping), a sunset...

We spent 5 days in the Neptune Pwani Beach resort and had a great time. The resort is beautifully situated, in a well kept garden and on a beautiful beach. Staff was great; helpful, pleasant and smiling. Architecture is charming and all in all, a very nice resort. Yet, it is not five star, not even close. Whereas everything can...

When arriving at a 5-star all inclusive resort at Tanzania's paradise, I would expect to be astonished. But I wasn't. I admit not to be a natural all-inn fanatic, but I'am afraid that my experience at the Neptune Pwani will not change my mindset. Yes, everything fitted the descriptions on the internet including the surcharge for dining at some all...
