Last minute bookings can be tricky but room 5 was below expectations and Tripad. rating. Small room, cold and not the best standard of bathroom. Very kind hosts and good breakfast deserve a second chance.

Found this place by chance negotiating our way out of Waterford. Luckily we managed to get a room for the night. What a lovely setting! Quiet, a room on the ground floor, a superb bed, and a very warm welcome from staff. Loved this place!

Disappointing trip to an average B&B (not at all the promised Country House experience). We never met the landlady but her noisy birthday party guests kept us awake way beyond midnight. We cut down our visit because of our disappointment, and our view that it wasn't worth the money. Modest accommodation partially redeemed by excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Proximity...

We stayed in the Diamond Hill for 2 nights recently (family of 5). It was wonderful. Benny & Katie are so welcoming and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the cooked breakfast was the nicest I've ever had. Were already planning our next trip to Diamond Hill and we cant wait. Could n't recommend it highly enough. We used the Diamond Hill as a stop over from arriving on the Rosslare Ferry and travelling down to Killarney (it's an hour from the ferry and three from Killarney). The service was typically friendly and efficient, the rooms clean and well presented. It is a short car ride down into Waterford though, as there is no where to eat...

Diamond Hill is the perfect base for a short break if you are exploring or visiting the area. It is conveniently close to Waterford city, but just far enough away from the bustle if you want peace and quiet. I was travelling with family and we shared one of the large family rooms, which had very comfortable beds, and a...

The property is in a quiet location and Benny the host very affable and helpful in arranging a dinner booking for us. However the room for the price was not up to our expectation. Basically the room was a little tired, dark with no outlook. The breakfast was acceptable. Overall not good value for money when compared with other establishments.

Travelling in UK and Ireland this was the worst experience by far. Other than check in the only sighting of any staff was fleetingly at breakfast. While being given the coolest room in the house which we appreciated because of the heat we did not like our damp beds or the cramped room A beautiful setting let down by extremely...

The location is great. Very close to Waterford town and ample parking. Was difficult to find on the satnav as it is actually in Co. Kilkenny. They have wifi in the rooms, not just in the lobby! As we were there in the heatwave we had to sleep with the window open so we were disturbed by noise from the...

We stayed overnight on the way to West Cork from Rosslare. The hotel was very clean and attractively decorated. There was no fuss booking in or leaving and the lady who dealt with us was both friendly and helpful. The room was quite large on the second floor facing a field at the back. There is some type of light...
