Have been to this hotel for breakfast on 2 occasions while passing through Lismore en route to Killarney. On our first visit we stopped as we spotted a banner offering all day food, We enquired at reception and were pointed in the direction of the restaurant/bar for breakfast. We saw the waitress and sat down and waited, and waited and...

Least expensive room on our trip around Ireland but as nice as others that cost twice as much. The restaurant was a bit under staffed but the dinner and breakfast were good. Across the street from the lovely Lismore castle gardens. So glad we stopped here for a night.

Passing through Lismore last week en-route to Rosslare we spotted the large banner advertising a tea or coffee with a scone for €3.95. Excellent value and good cheerful service. When I went to pay the bill in the bar - we were sat outside - it was busy with locals - always a good sign!

We celebrated my sisters 40th birthday in The Lismore House Hotel function room! The room was laid out perfectly, the food was delicious and all of the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The manager Bruno was very easy to deal with and wanted the night to go really well for us! He gave us a great price for B&B too!...

we stopped here for lunch en route to Dungarvan. Once you arrive in its hard to know where to go in terms of restaurant, bar etc as its not very well signed when you arrive in. A friendly male member of staff directed us to the bar and we were given menus by a different staff member. it was busy...

Lismore is a lovely town, people are very friendly...but...hotel...Sub standard room, was not worth the €98/night rate. Stains and holes on walls. TV from the stone age - remote control for a different TV or just didn't work. No bed side lights but a lightswitch on headboard to turn on main lights, not much good for that unexpected trip to...

Made a return journey to this hotel for a one night stay on route to the south west. It was a very wet and miserable day but we were greeted by very friendly staff and a lovely clean warm room. There is a large car park to the side of the hotel with ample secure parking. We ate in the...

Having been in lismore a few times in the past the place was standard for the type of place that it is. I decided to return this weekend and what a difference a little time has made it seems that the hotel has a new manager and new staff and you can really tell the bar were attentive and made...
