We booked at the last minute through the tourist information office and the friendly couple were waiting to greet us when we arrived.
We were taken up to our room and although we speak hardly any french and she spoke no english we managed with gestures.
The room was immaculate and the furnishing brilliant, nice big firm bed, everything had been thought of.
The en suite shower and toilet were so clean and fresh. The pretty garden and terrace was available for you to sit out on, which was a great bonus.

Although close to everything it is so peaceful in the house and garden.
It is a right next to the medieval town but also next to the main town. It is a few minutes walk from the promenade where you may see seals in the water.

Just off the main drag at one end of the town, this B&B/Chambres is in a good position, convenient for the riverfront and the old town on foot. The old fishing area is at the other end of town, about 500m, with the marina and train about 1km.

We had the garden room, which was comfortable and private, with ensuite shower, and nice view over the garden.

Breakfast presented a good choice. Various items including yoghurt, preserves, and bread were home made by our hosts.

Our hosts were charming. I always worry about language barriers, and they have no English but madame was keen to chat with our basic French and even (we realised later) spoke more slowly for us, which is not a universal nicety. They were helpful and happy to offer advice when asked.

There's no dedicated parking, but loading/unloading should be fine. Parking is an issue in the town itself, but there's a large free car park at the top of the hill (the situation is annually...
