The location is the advantage to this place. The palace is not very big but it is well maintained. We stayed in the cottages are they are also not very posh but basic all facilities are there. It gives you a sense of living in forest and it is very peaceful and calm. Very good place for long walks and...

We stopped here for lunch, hence the review is largely confined to that. Thanks to the movie 3 Idiots, this place has an increased interest. Sigh for sore eyes, but please be careful of monkeys. The food options have some interesting local Himachali cuisine that's definitely worth trying.

Besides the beauty of Himachal - the lush green forest and snowclad mountains , the flowers and wild animals, we enjoyed the personal touch of Ms Sarla Chopra , DGM of The Chail Palace. She made our stay such a pleasure by her personal touch...

The gardens have large collection of trees and winding pathway of Pine forest walk. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. There are cottages at a lower level that has a breathtaking view of the city of chail. Lots of...
