We stayed here for two nights as we wanted to visit Zermatt for the day. The accomodation is about a 10-15 walk from the train station, but can also be reached by bus and a 5 minute walk (2,20 CHF with a half-price Swiss Rail Pass). The walk is uphill from the station- something to bear in mind if hauling luggage with you. It is an easy walk downhill to the station and eating areas. The accomodation itself was very clean and simple, check in was easy and staff were able to answer questions. We didn’t eat the breakfast offered so cannot comment on that. The room was spacious for two people with fast wifi, many charging points and a very clean and spacious bathroom with soap provided. The highlights of our stay were definitely the fresh cherries straight off the tree outside the balcony and walking out of the property to see snow-capped mountains.

Excellent place to stay for a couple of days in Wallis. Very friendly atmosphere, clean and charming rooms very simple though, good breakfast and most important, nice and helpful people in their front desk. We really recommend this place.

Also very close to the train station I was hurt skiing in Zermatte and was brought to the hospital in Visp for treatment and surgery. Round-trip from Zermatte by train and cab or 15 to 20 minute walk from train station was less than a hour and a half. Train ran every half hour. This is a hotel and conference center. It is EXTREMELY CLEAN. The room has two single beds that are a little short. Beds are comfortable with a comforter on each. There is no TV or radio but they have wifi. There is a phone in the room. Shower with very good water pressure. Breakfast is warm home made breads, cheeses, home made jams, cereals, yogurt, hams and other meats. This was very inexpensive compared to the regular hotels but it was just basic with a homey touch.

I ended up staying at this hotel as my wife broke her leg on our trip to Switzerland. The hospital staff made arrangements for me to stay there as it is right beside the Visp hospital. I was escorted to my room late at night by a Nun (wasn't expecting that). The room is basic but comfortable and clean. Breakfast the next morning was simple but good. One of the staff even made me a pot of fresh coffee (vs the instant) which was a nice treat.

We stayed in here for two nights. The room was nice, spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable although a bit on the small side. The breakfast is only OK, items available were a bit bland. I thought the room price was a little expensive, but in Switzerland everything is expensive. I would highly recommend this guesthouse. Overall we had a good stay.
