The staff here is extremely rude, extremely unprofessional and racist. They lie in order to avoid giving you services. We were a group of people here on business for more than two months and it has been nothing but a headache. They know exactly what group we are and we have been thrown out of the restaurant for no reason except for when they found out that we were foreigners and did not speak the native tongue. Additionally, every once in a while we would get together in the lobby (behind closed doors) to conduct certain meetings where we had been told that you could drink, but not eat as long as you took the room before 9:00pm. We followed the rules and suddenly tonight we were there at 8:45pm and they kept denying us the room. When we asked why, they provided no answer and were just rude and non communicative. We have seen other guests eat at the open lobby area and when we ask about it. The responses vary but we are never given the same treatment. Additionally, they refuse Ice requests almost daily and when they actually give you ice they give you a bad attitude and a half empty ice bucket. …
The service is so so bad, they change the administration and they are rude. They kick me out of the restaurant because we did not have a reservation and the restaurant was full of people from outside of the Hotel. I stayed in the hotel for a month and previous administration was better than this racist new personel.
The location was perfect right accross from train station, adjacent to restaurants, cafés and shops. The breakfast, on the 6th floor that had beautiful views on mountains, was delicious and had lots of variety. The decoration was very nice. Sparkly clean. Although the type of single room was not that spacious, but the smart space management of the design didn't make it feel cramped at all. Finally, the staff, from reception to house keeping to waitresses of this hotel were very friendly and helpful. A special appreciation goes to Ms. Melanie Murmann and Ms. Kerstin Zumkemi who were so considerate by canceling the reservation of my last night without imposing the penalty charge, when I had to make an urgent alteration to my trip plan. Their gesture has left an even more positive note on this hotel. Would definitely come back! I've been in 3 star hotels before, but nothing compares to this concept. If I were their manager, I would export this concept of hotel chain worldwide! Only one little thing on the down side! There were not enough TV English channels. Please add documentary, scientific, comedy, historical English TV channels for your various international guests. The only one I came across was a news channel.…
Title is explain all . Visperhof is my sweet home when I am in Visp . I am filling as I am in my home , made very good connection with very kind staff on the desk . I was very disappointed when Visperhof was full and has to move to another hotel !
What I liked most during my two-day stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were really nice. My room was clean and functional, but in a different building which was a little inconvenient. It would have been nice if there had been at least a coffee maker in the room and maybe more electrical outlets, but the biggest downside was that the room was overheated to about 76 F and the only way to cool it down was to open the window which made for a very crude temperature control. I probably would have given 4 stars if I had had a room in the main building. The buffet style breakfast featured different style eggs, meats, sausages, cheese and more and not to forget a nice selection of breads. I did not check out the gym (which is also in a different building) because it closed very early - another slight inconvenience. Location is good, within easy walking distance of the train station and the small downtown. I will come back and hopefully to a room in the main building.…
