A wonderful place to stay. Sue and Jim were wonderful hosts, the breakfasts delicious with homemade bread, yogurts and fruit from the garden. The accommodation was homely and welcoming, vthe views wonderful and the garden delightful.. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Jim and Sue are so welcoming and their house is beautiful and unique, with great vistas all over the bay and set in a perfect location near the entrance of Abel Tasman NP. Thank you for sharing it with us for a few nights :). Highly recommended!

Our stay at the cottage at Fraser Highland Retreat was the highlight in accommodation terms of our whole four weeks in NZ. It was very comfortable, well equipped, spacious and in a very peaceful location with really great views. Jim and Sue were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.

A beautiful Highland Mini Castle high on a private hill overlooking orchards and the town and out to the Tasman Sea. Beautifully appointed en suite rooms. Breakfast is a treat with fresh fruit and home made muffins.

Lovely hilltop setting and convenient to Abel Tasman & wine tasting. Hosts Sue & Jim will go out of their way to insure your satisfaction. Great breakfasts with homemade and homegrown food. Closest restaurants in Marahau, about 15 minutes.

Nestled in the bush, about 1 km off the main rd with spectacular views it makes the perfect retreat. The location is fantastic about 10mins from Marahau and less than 10mins from Kaiteriteri. We stayed in the top room with ensuite. Comfortable bed, great shower and some nice touches (coffee/tea & chocolates) - has everything you need. Breakfasts were fresh...

We stayed in the separate cottage in the garden for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage accommodation had everything there so we could be self sufficient. The views were great of the bay and Motueka in the distance. Jim and Sue were both very helpful and friendly - even offering us some fresh vegetables from their garden....

Jim & Sue (and their B&B) were the perfect first stop for our inaugural visit to New Zealand-every aspect of our stay there was perfection. Cozy and comfortable room (with views of the local hills), incredible breakfast, magnificent location-all were perfect. But the icing on the cake was Jim and Sue-they were the quintessential B&B hosts and attended to our...

Definitely the nicest b&b I staid in during my holiday in NZ. I had the cottage and this was absolutely fantastic. The cotage was clean, cozy, a bit old fashioned but well maintained and had all you need for a short stay (washing machine available in the cottage). The view of the place is stunning; you see the valley and...

This is a charming B&B set high up with beautiful views over the Abel Tasman Bay. The drive into the retreat is along a (serviceable) gravel road which really aids with the feeling of getting away from it all! Sue and Jim were charming hosts; nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast superb with a wide range of cereals,...
