We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary at Glazebrook House. Expectations were running high after reading previous reviews and we were definitely not disappointed. From the moment of arrival till our departure it was all perfect. We had the 8 course taster menu with the wine flight - deliciously superb and very generous, far more than just a taster!! I don't...

Our first visit and, always expecting it to be "less than the hype", we were most pleasantly surprised to find this wonderful venue lives up to and surpasses it. Reception: Excellent. Friendly, efficient and allowing us to peruse the menu in the bar while we had a drink as we were on time as regards lunch. _/ Bar: very swish-looking,...

I recently stayed at the Glazebrook and was party of a large party celebrating a 60th birthday. I must say it was a brilliant experience. The owner and all of the staff were very welcoming and extremely attentive. The level of service was outstanding. We had canapés and drinks followed by a sit down meal. Both the canapés and the...

Our stay at Glazebrook House Hotel was originally arranged by my family, living in Portishead. It was a long trip from Teesside for one night, but was really well worth the trip. Hotel stays are almost wholly dependant on the atmosphere in the property, and the attitude of the staff. This place blows others away in both departments! The whole...

My husband treated me to a night here for my birthday. We stayed in the Jabberwocky room. It was such a lovely place. We'd not been back here since we got married back in 2004. The changes made to the place are amazing. I wish them all the very best as it is truly a lovely place to go to...

Took the chance and dropped in to see this establishment just after it opened and then visited again.....and then again...and again. The quality never wavers, the service is spot on and the surroundings are amazing. The beef on a Sunday is remarkable with a horseradish that will blow your head off. You must visit the place.

Just amazing made to feel so welcome and relaxed. Our room had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in 🤗. In room extras wine, biscuits, chocolate and great coffee another surprise. I cannot eat wheat or dairy and this proved not a problem I could order anything on the menu and it was adjusted accordingly nothing was too...

We chose Glazebrook for an anniversary treat. We are fairly new to the area and had been researching where to go when a GroupOn offer popped up. We read reviews and looked at the rooms and were delighted to book but surprised we had not uncovered this hotel in our research. Booking was straightforward and we were told we would...

We treated ourselves to two nights at Glazebrook House over Christmas after it was recommended by a friend of ours that lives in Dorset. It was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We had booked the White Rabbit room which is on the corner at the front of the building with a view of the valley opposite. The rooms are...

The waiting staff were brilliant attentive and knowledgeable. The menu was balanced and the wine matching superb. The food was modern and matching the decor theme, well done to the chef we really couldn't find any faults not that we were trying to be critical. You were made to feel an experience, it's the whole deal from arrival to leaving...
