    I cannot praise this place enough. Its the kind of pub I thought no longer existed. Located down a no through road in a beautiful valley in the Durham Dales, the outside is pretty and quintessentially English. The inside retains its character but is smart....More

    Called for lunch with two children & partners with a baby each on a cold windy day. Despite announcing that they weren't "a baby friendly pub" they went out of their way to make us all very welcome providing wonderful food and great Strathmore Gold...More

    Walked the High Force and wanted a big pub lunch to top it off, and the Strathmore Arms was everything we could wish for! Fantastic homely food, great value and portoin size and great pints. Best place to go after a long walk!

    Hello we open from 12pm everyday except Tuesday when we are closed. Food is served 12-8pm (last orders 7.50 usually, booking advisable) all days except Sunday (12-3pm Sunday).
