Good choice. Really well located. Rooms are freshly decorated & very comfortable. Real ale is excellent, and the food - although not the cheapest, is delicious and of top quality. The early bird menu is clearly popular. For a hotel that is near Edinburgh, it is superb good value, and has all the benefits of many "boutique" hotels I have...

Stayed here recently whilst on business. On arrival the staff could not have been more helpful,I asked for room service as id didn't want to sit in the restaurant by myself, this wasn't a problem to them. I was shown to my room and was delighted at how love;y and cosy it was. Lovely En suite and a really comfy bed.Dinner...

We had an enjoyable late lunch today, Easter Sunday. Food enjoyable, service friendly. Was a bit slow but excused as the place was very busy. food beautifully presented. Table by the kitchen not ideal as a bit noisy and we got the kitchen fumes. However I really appreciate that the staff changed our booking to accommodate an extra person.

Fantastic nights sleep despite being close to main road thanks to the comfy bed and spotlessly clean room. Food delicious specifically the mussels in white wine and cream sauce which were a great portion and the haddock was really tasty. Only minor issue with TV remote but the staff were willing to fix quickly, only improvement would be to pop...

My husband and I had to stay overnight in Scotland, preferably on the main carriageway in and out of Edinburgh. I found this place quite by accident, and so glad I did. All I wish to do is confirm that the reviews of the food in this Gastro Pub are "bang on". Wow !!! If you ever have the good...

What a great surprise this place is. Booking in was easy. Staff were so friendly and helpful, even though we arrived early and in the middle of a busy lunchtime service. Food looked amazing in the restaurant but unfortunately we couldn't sample it due to our busy itinerary. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was lovely and spacious. Breakfast had...

The guys who run this place have a lot of businesses and it is through another one we came to stay here. They have a company called Scooby Campers that they run out of this place too. We hired an amazing VW splitscreen van from here to use as our wedding car as we knew we would be having our...
