Thank you. We do hope you're able to find time to return to the Cairngorms before too much longer.

We would definitely not come again, our stay was very unpleasant. When we arrived we had to take off our shoes and leave them at the front door, so we had to walk around the house in socks having very cold feet the whole time....More

Thank you for being so comprehensive in publishing your review. We tried our very best to solve the issues you raised while you were staying with us - which were not as many as you have raised online. If you had mentioned some of the...More

This place was tremendous value for money. Our twin bedroom was comfortable and clean with enough storage space. The bathroom was shared but we never had to wait and most of the bedrooms have their own sink. The shower was hot and powerful. The continental...More

Thank you. We very much enjoyed meeting you too and hope that you'll be back again for more hiking and biking which you didn't manage to squeeze into your visit this time.

We did the all inclusive 6 night/5 day 'Complete Cairngorms' guided walking trip. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. Rebecca works very hard to ensure you are kept comfortable and well fed in the lodge. Breakfast was continental (porridge; choice of cereals; tea, nice...More

Thank you - a very comprehensive review. We would however just add for clarity that though we charge extra for cooked breakfasts when guests are staying at the Lodge independently, for those on the fully inclusive walking packages there is no extra charge. We are...More

We had a comfortable room with twin beds en-suite, most rooms are hostel style with shared bathroom. Our room was in the attic so had limited headspace this did make the bathroom a little awkward if we're very honest. However for the price we thought...More

Thank you for your feedback. We are very pleased with our 5* hostel grading this year. All our rooms are private rooms. Our twins have 2 single beds and there are no bunk beds at Fraoch Lodge, which we feel is a step up from...More

I'm afraid that we don't have space for dogs within the main buildings. We have had guests bring dogs in the past, but only when they are happy for the dogs to stay in the car or to have a bed in one of our garden sheds or... More

Hi JayJay, Thanks for the query. We do have 2 rooms with private bathrooms. These are a wee bit more expensive and we hope to have one more private bathroom facility provided by January 2016. If you book 2 standard rooms... More

The bathrooms are shared, but there are several. Depending on where your rooms are, you may not be sharing with anyone else. I've stayed 3 times and have never had to queue for the bathroom.
