Myself and relatives recently spent 3 nights, reserving both first floor rooms. We found the accommodation to be both clean and spacious, and the beds very comfortable, which was great after spending long days walking the wall. Brian made us feel very welcome and couldn’t have been more helpful with his knowledge of the local area. He also cooks a...

As soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Great room. Lovely breakfast. Great location as we attended a wedding at Langley castle. Brian even drove us up to castle in the morning to collect our car! He couldn't have been more helpful. Would recommend to anyone x

I don't recognise the property from the recent negative review. We had a great room with all the facilities one could expect. Breakfast was excellent. A highlight was Brian's hospitality, especially his local knowledge of Haydon Bridge and Hadrian's Wall. As a result we visited a section of Wall we otherwise would not have known about.

Great location. Lovely peaceful view across the footbridge-great for people watching. Fruit, yoghurt and full English breakfast was wonderful. Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Brian was very helpful. He allowed us to borrow his ordinance survey map and gave us excellent tips on how to get the best from our Hadrian's wall experience.

I did in fact wonder if we were in the right place as this bore no resemblance to either its photo of rather lovely hanging baskets at the front door or any of the positive comments posted. It was a tatty building, in need of some attention; a dreary, functional B&B. Clean. No pictures in bedroom or any attention to...

Great welcome from Brian and the first floor family room with the river/bridge view was large and amazingly airy with three windows. Good sized bathroom and, always appreciated-two easy chairs. As usual in rural settlements more or less zero traffic at night so excellent sleep quality. Three places to eat in the evening within five minutes walk or less, and...

In the middle of Haydon Bridge, next to the river and really close to Kielder Forest. Although it is in the middle of Haydon Bridge, it is really quiet. Our room was really cosy, with private bathroom. Owners are good hosts and make fell you very welcome.

Taking a choice of a twin room over a double we had a view out over the river from the first floor. The property is on a busy corner but the traffic is very light in the evening and through the night. Parking is on the street and with the convenience stores close by spaces can be a short distance...
