We’ve just returned from our honeymoon at this hotel and we loved it. Here’s our thoughts and useful tips:

Pros
All staff are friendly and helpful from the reception staff, to the restaurant staff to the pool staff.

Hotel is spotlessly clean.

Massive complex with 4 restaurants to eat at - Italian, seafood, Asian and Michelin star - all good we had was amazing! I am gluten free and they always had gluten free bread available at breakfast and in all of the restaurants. Gluten free pasta available in the Italian restaurant and gluten free soy sauce in the Asian restaurant! None of their menus mention these facts but don’t let that put you off! They are also good on adaptations and what can and can’t be done. Please note that no puddings are gluten free apart from the sorbet…

Lovely touch having a little chocolate and daily quote on our bedsides!

There’s buttons on the loungers to call for drink and food service - you don’t even need to leave the sun-bed! Sun beds are also huge.

There’s a little shop onsite selling tea, toiletries and a few snacks/gifty items.

Tips/FYI
You aren’t allowed your towels around the main pool - instead staff will come over to you once you stand next to where you want to sit and they will make up the beds and provide you with a towel to dry off with too.

No inflatables allowed in the main pool.

If you’re using the lifts and want to get to any floor apart from level 0 or 6, you need to scan your room card in the lift! We weren’t told this and ended up taking lots of stairs and getting frustrated…

We stayed in a residence room with our own pool - it’s advertised as a sea view, which technically it is as you can see the sea but I’d say it’s only partial as there’s buildings blocking the view…

Once you get the bill at a restaurant, they will deduct your allowance from the total and if you don’t go over it will show €0 and you just need to sign it and write your room number. If you go over, you still sign and write your room number and settle at the end of your stay. On our first night the bill was €0 and we didn’t know what to do but you just sign and add room number and that’s it.

Nothing really walking distance from the hotel, if you want to use the hotel’s taxi service it’s €80 for a return trip which can be charged to your room and settled on checkout.

The Cap St George Hotel proved to be a real oasis of comfort and comfort for us! My friends and I spent a week here, and this vacation will be long remembered.

First of all, I want to commend the excellent service. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, always available to help and answer any questions. Every request we made was done quickly and with a smile, which made it feel like we were really welcome.

The rooms were spacious, modern and beautifully furnished. Cleanliness was maintained at the highest level and the view from the window to the sea was breathtaking. Waking up to the noise of the waves and enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony is a great pleasure.

The hotel grounds are a separate delight. The well-maintained gardens, chic swimming pool and private beach with crystal clear water provided ideal relaxation conditions. Particularly enjoyed the sun loungers on the beach, where you could safely spend the whole day enjoying the sun and the sea.

The hotel's restaurants deserve special praise. We tasted dishes from different cuisines around the world, and each was magnificently prepared and served. Breakfast is generally a belly feast: a wide selection of dishes, fresh fruit, fragrant pastries.

Thank you very much for the entertainment. We played tennis and participated in water sports, horseback riding, visited the zoo. Each day was filled with a variety of activities, which made our holiday even more rich and interesting.

The Cap St George Hotel has exceeded our expectations. It's a place I want to go back to again and again. Thanks for the unforgettable experience and great holiday!

From start to finish the Cap St Georges went out of their way to make our stay as perfect as possible. An early check in and a late check out gave us those extra precious hours to enjoy. The rooms are 3m high which makes them light and spacious - with the tallest built in wardrobes I've ever had! Everything is modern and efficient. The under sink lights come on as you walk into the bathroom in the evening, there is a round window into the bathroom with a privacy filter and so many other features. Thinking about it, I could have had the glass clear and watched the sunset from the tub! The food was wonderful and all the staff were friendly and helpful with my 'odd' dietary needs. The pool is huge with call service to the bar but there are lovely cabanas at the beach too. Even the walk to their quiet zone is fragrant with rosemary hedges. The whole resort exudes quality from the thick matress on the sunbeds to the ancient olive trees around the grounds, the local stone of the buildings and underground car park for keeping your car cool. We would have loved to have stayed longer to experience all of the restaurants, but the food in Kohili overlooking the beach at sunset was my favourite. I would love to visit at a busier time too when there's a Michelin star chef in Sky7 or a live music event .... maybe next time!

We visited for 3 nights in September with our 3 year old.

The hotel felt very luxurious from first entering the hotel. We were greeted at the car and told to sit down on the sofas and staff came to us to help with the check in and also gifted our toddler with a soft teddy. This whole process made check in very smooth and the hotel really made you feel like nothing was any trouble for them.

Our room was truly beautiful and would really recommend the private pool rooms for a special occasion.

The food on the half board was really good value and would really recommend upgrading to half board

The main area of improvement I would say is that a supermarket onsite is needed as you are a taxi journey away from any or you would need car hire.

After a night at the worst hotel in Paphos we found the CSG and after an early morning call they sent a taxi to rescue us and we were in the lobby with a cold drink and a warm welcome within an hour.

The pool area is lovely and no shortage of beds towels anything you might need . After a restorative cosmopolitan and some sliders everything felt better.

Our rooms were very luxurious and had everything you could want. Robes and products all lovely.

Feedback from us would be that the blackout curtains don’t quite block out the gorgeous sunrise but that on the room front was all. The gym opens from 8 and 7 would have been ideal as we were up early with the sun but otherwise it was fully stocked and a really great gym .

We didn’t make it to the spa as felt very treated as we’re were but it looked great and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Breakfasts were a real treat everything you could possibly want and the staff were all utterly fantastic . Couldn’t rate having a better breakfast anywhere we have stayed .

Restaurants were lovely kohili and bonsai were the best and the manager and staff were busy but very attentive. We would have liked another choice maybe a steak place but that’s just a tiny thing. Where the restaurants are located the kitchens cooking must be satalite as sometimes the wait was long so with kids they got bored but once we got used to ordering there food to come first it was all great.

Consistency would be the only feedback we didn’t get water refreshed in rooms everyday so maybe a water fountain would be good as we both drink 4 litres each a day. Sliders were different at the pool and kohili so as you know with kids this can be a challenge but really wasn’t a huge problem once we knew. Sometimes the pool staff served very quick but sometimes same had long waits for the order to be taken but really we could just get up and order at the bar so again not an issue just inconsistent.

The cocktail night with managers was a nice touch but we stumbled across is as we didn’t turn on the tv so didn’t get the message but was a lovely touch.

We travel a lot high with kids and just us and we would like to come back again as it really had everything we wanted and we look forward to seeing how the resort grows and coming back again.

Very honest 5 star review

Three day experience of a lifetime at Cap St George Hotel & Resort!!!!

We spent an amazing three days, in this wonderful place, which makes you feel and become part of a community, without losing your privacy, something very important!!!
Everything is taken care of in the smallest detail!!!
-First of all the facilities, unique, all spotlessly clean, with an unforgettable view of the sea from all the rooms, which are spacious, with all the comforts at your feet and hands. With a coffee machine in the room for the first espresso of the day!!! (an important detail for me!)
-The breakfast is wonderful, you will find everything, even if you have the most unusual and different tastes. The red super fruits on the buffet, very tasty, as well as very nicely placed in their bowls!!!
-Then you can choose one of the hotel's two fantastic beaches. To your right the more cosmopolitan and to the left the Quite Zone (which we preferred) for a more adventurous dive, with rocks to climb to sunbathe, caves to get lost in. Of course, the comforts also exist here, on the upper level. Here we met the multilingual Kostas, who despite his young age spoke Russian, Greek and other languages, going easily from one to the other in record time!!!
-The pools are also amazing, small and Olympic sized. You will enjoy them.
-For lunch or dinner go to Kochyli restaurant with fantastic fish (squid, octopus, sea bass and other fresh fish!!!) but also amazing chicken and meat!!!
- In Bosnai also with Eastern air and with a fantastic demonstration by the cooks making delicious dishes in front of your eyes!!!
-In the comforts of the day the 2,500 square meter Spa, where you will find everything. Unique massage by Nandisha from Sri Lanka, with magical and powerful hands that will relax you incredibly!!!
-The buggy safari in Akamas, a nice adventure!!!
-And one more thing, the coexistence of the hotel and the villas is completely harmonious and unique. Together they create a community that provides security and much more that both hotel guests and villa owners can enjoy. Nice idea of the owner Mr. Ioannou to create a multicultural school and a 60-bed hospital within the Cap St George Hotel and Resort area. Congratulations on the vision coming true!!!

On arrival we were greeted in the stunning reception of this hotel with views over the sea and landscape, check in was smooth and we were taken to our room which was a (room type) beautifully appointed room, spacious with a very large bed and with all the mod cons you could want from connectable TV and touch pad lighting and aircon controls an ensuite with a deluge shower and a beautiful bath to relax in and with a private pool with a view of the sea.

We ventured around the hotel complex which is large and on multiple levels but has well placed lifts for accessibility and stairs if you fancy a bit of exercise!

Through reception there are 2 lovely bar areas which lead onto the terrace where you will get possibly the best unspoiled sunset views in Paphos. Which we did with a cheeky cocktail.

Down to the pool area this is a large pool well appointed and a good amount of luxury sunbeds and to the side of this main pool was a smaller children’s pool both with lifeguard on duty and a pool bar at the end of the terrace.

Down to the lower level there is a food court with a Japanese teppanyaki grill, an Italian restaurant and a gelato ice cream shop, with a small shop for some basics and beach bits if you forgot to pack them which were reasonably priced. The area has a children’s cinema which shows a movie most nights and this was a nice area to eat in the evenings.

The beach area was really nice with some cabanas and bean bags on the beach with the lovely sandy beach and turquoise sea, there is also a drinks service on the beach with little buzzers on the sunbeds/cabanas.

The beach restaurant had amazing views over the small bay and the sunset and the food we had in there was very nice.

We spent a lot of our time in our room pool as this was just so relaxing south facing sea view and a perfect temperature to cool off from the very intense heat.

The staff were all very polite and did their best to answer any questions we had.

This was our first visit to the resort. We stayed over the weekend and we were extremely impressed with so many different aspects of this unique Resort. First of all arroving at the hotel the unique location and breathtaking views offered are captivating. The design of the hotel itself is spectacular as are the grounds which blend harmoniusly with the environment.

The rooms are very spacious and luxurious, each with breathtaking views towards the sea.

The staff were very friendly and hospitable and it was obvious that their priority was to make each and every guest is special.

We had the opportunity on the one day to use the pool facilities and we were impressed by the pool attendant who prepared perfectly out sun beds and umbrella.

We had dinner at the Kohili restaurant and lunch the next day at the Mesogios Restaurant. Apart from the amazing views, the food was excellent and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating even though the restaurant was busy. The DJs provided an absence which made our experience even more special.

Breakfast the next day was truly amazing, satisfying every individual need. The quality was excellent and the staff yet again very accommodating.

All in all our experience was memorable and we would not hesitate to recommend the Resort to anyone wanting a truly relaxing and luxurious holiday.

Talk about luxury that is surrounded by beauty, then look no further than Cap St George. I have travelled to many hotels & resorts but nothing comes close to this very unique resort, it has everything you would look for an much more.
From the moment my partner and I entered the hotel we were amazed with every little detail and elegance it oozes, not only that but the friendly staff on hand to ensure that your check-in runs smoothly and was met with a welcome drink (nice touch team).
Our sea view room was very private, the welcome drinks in the room but the design and finishes in the room were really on point, walk out onto the patio and you're met with your own private pool and sun lounges, we knew we were in for a relaxing holiday. We ventured down to the infinity pool and it was so relaxing not having to go to the bar to order drinks, the staff were amazing and made us feel very welcome and looked after. If you get a chance head down to the quiet area of the resort which is by the water it's simply breathtaking. At night we dined at the Italian Restaurant within the resort, the food and wine on offer was next level and the seafood pasta I had was full of flavor and locally served wine, the night was truly magical. The beach to the right of the resort has day beds and this by far the most relaxing resort I have stayed at. The management of the hotel, all the staff should be commended for the excellent job and service they provide we cannot thank Cap St George enough, you exceeded our expectations and more.

We were only there for three nights but had a great time.
Our room was a Residence with Pool, this was amazing! The pool wasn't too tiny and you could swim in it. The beds were super comfy too. We went along to the halloumi making demonstration on the Friday we arrived. It's good that the hotel puts on activities like this, we got to try two different cheeses and saw it being made.
On our relaxing days we went to the pool, I loved the double sunbeds and extra large towels! I preferred the pool to the sea, although the beach has sand there are unexpected rocks in the water. Sunsets on the beach are not to be missed!
We were on half board. It isn't highly publicised but local wine/beer is included with your dinner, this is a great perk. We ate at the Italian and Mediterranean restaurants. Our meals were delicious at both! There is a lot of choice included on the half board set menu but you could instead have €55 towards the a la carte menu. We had two different salads as starters, then steak, and a dessert at the Italian. We visited the Mediterranean restaurant twice, both times there was great live music from a saxophonist and guitarist. The first time we both had the half board menu; one salad, salmon, lamb chops, lemon tart. The second time I had Sea Bream off the a la carte menu which was within allowance. I was allowed to swap dessert for coffee at either restaurant. Chroma Lobby bar was good, the cocktails are made well, classics as well as signatures.
A couple of improvements the hotel could make; the breakfast buffet food needed to be hotter. I saw it being prepared fresh and go onto the buffet counter hot but it didn't stay that way long at all! Also, not really anything that can be done now the hotel is built but it would really be useful to have exterior stairs from the pool level down to the level below (if there were any we couldn't find them). It meant you had to get the lift to go to/from the beach.

Are there free beds available on the beach? If not, how much is it to rent sun beds on the beach?

We did always book, and the staff seemed to imply it would be necessary. Depends on what season you go probably. I went early October and on the weekend it did seem like it is required at Kohili, it was very busy.
