An exclusive and luxury development of nine two and three bedroom villas and one and two bedroom apartments set around a magnificent, tropical lagoon-style swimming pool with attractive and spacious sunbathing terraces

I had a short but great stay in this accommodation during the lockdown time in Portugal. The beforehand communication with Lucy went perfectly.
I bumped into the Sunday night community BBQ which I greatly appreciated and people are were more than welcoming, including the owners themselves.
The apartment is well equipped with everything that one needs for self-catering, also a dish-washer and washing machine. It was clean and in very good conditions, and the Wifi worked fantastic which was one of my main criteria as a remote worker.
Overall I felt well looked after, a great mix of privacy and small community of people and you can choose to which degree you want to have those two elements. Definitely recommended to stay here if you wish to have a good degree of exclusivity and meeting other travelers.

5 stars – Ocean villas is the perfect setting for a perfect holiday. We have visited the Algarve for the past 4 years and stayed in Luz for the past 2 years. I cannot recommend Ocean villas enough. We stayed in an apartment (2 adults and 2 children). The apartments look out over the pool and have an amazing view of the sea. Sitting eating my breakfast listening to the waves was perfectly bliss. The pool was never too busy and there were more sun loungers than people (even in mid Aug while we were there). We felt like it had the advantages of a shared pool (kids playing with others from ocean villas) but felt like our own for much of the time. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and Lucy helped book us day trips to Zoomarine and on the family catamaran which stops right in front! We will be returning 😀

We have just returned from here where we were attending a large family gathering. Everything was absolutely perfect. Everything was super clean. The owners and staff extremely helpful throughout. We had a 2 bedroom apartment. The main bedroom was ensuite and the large twin room had access to a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen was full size with a dishwasher and washing machine. Huge amount of plates, cutlery, utensils etc available. Grounds are well maintained and have a great lawn area just across the road and this sweeps down to the sea. BBQ facilities also available. We really can't fault it and will definitely be back.

We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful location in Luz, renting 2 apartments next to each other for our extended family. Before arrival Lucy was amazing with booking help, including car hire, airport transfers and COVID tests. Upon arrival the apartment we were pleasantly surprised that there were 2 bathrooms. The high ceilings gave the apartments a really spacious feeling. Everything was good quality, from the cotton sheets and towels, to the comfortable beds and sofa. There are plenty of sun beds - some appointed to your own apartment, which was a great idea. We had everything we needed to feel at home. Brian, David and Christina were very friendly, answered our many questions, gave us tips on what to do and where to eat out, and made us feel very welcome. This place is special, with the pool surrounded by bougainvillea, the garden and the location to all the bars and restaurants Luz has on offer. The pool was on the cold side, but made for a refreshing swim. My favourite spot was my morning coffee overlooking the sea from the terrace. We can highly recommend this beautiful spot and would love to come back in the no-too-distant future.

If, like me, you are searching for a little slice of tranquillity after a crazy time, then Ocean Villas Luz is the perfect panacea. The views are breathtaking and the location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the centre but far enough away to remain peaceful. The pool is delightful, as are the gardens that stretch down to the sea. A final word must go to the team who work at Ocean Villas as they are always knowledgeable and friendly, but never intrusive.

Our experience at Ocean Villas was fantastic! We felt very lucky to find this place available at the last minute when our original hotel fell through. They were super quick with responding to our inquiry and we were able to check in immediately. This was our honeymoon and this place was perfect! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was very bright, spacious and clean. The location was amazing. We wanted something quiet and secluded with a view. Originally thinking we wanted to stay further out of town, but this was perfect. Being right on the water’s edge you felt like you were more in nature, but being in such short walking distance to the town made things so easy and stress free. The absolutely best part of this place was the outdoor spaces. We had both a front patio that overlooked the gardens and the ocean and a shaded back patio with steps that lead to the pool area. And the pool was great too!! So clean and well maintained and the whole area had beautiful flowers everywhere. We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay. We can see how great this place would be for families and we hope to be back one day. We could easily see ourselves staying for weeks! Oh, and I can’t forget the incredibly thorough manual and guidebooks they made!! These people really know what they are doing and have thought of everything. Wish we were there long enough to do more of their recommendations. Thank you Lucy, Christina and all the staff at Ocean Villas.”

We’ve been to Luz before and loved it, the town itself is just wonderful, and ocean villas is the perfect location to base yourself!
From booking to arrival to check out, everything was super easy and laid back. David and all the team are so friendly and helpful, you feel you’re in good hands.
We stayed in an 2 bed villa which had the most wonderful views from terrace, perfect place to sit with an afternoon coffee. The Villa was huge, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The only thing I would change would be to have cleaning products and bin bags, toilet roll etc provided beyond a few items, but it’s not a huge issue, we just bought cleaning wipes and bin bags!
We are a family with 2 children aged 7 and 3, they absolutely loved our ‘holiday house’ and the pool was perfect for them.
We would recommend Ocean Villas to anyone and this will not be our last visit, I’m sure.

We only stayed here for two night but wish it could have been more! From the start......
Easy to book, with great communication (nothing we ever too much trouble) and easy online payment system. Even had to change something at the last minute and they were very obliging.
Check in. We were given detailed instructions via email how to check in and we got our villa keys with no problem. Lots of helpful information in the apartment of practical things and local knowledge.
Apartment was beautiful and clean and well equipped with everything you could need for a great self catering holiday. You can pay a small fee for the air con.
The location is what really sells these villas....it is AMAZING. A short walk from the centre of Luz with its restaurants and amenities but also with the best coastal frontage is a quite location. If you can drag yourself away from the pool in the centre of the villas, there are beautiful gardens which are a stones throw from the sea. There are sun loungers so you can sunbath and watch the boats sail past. We LOVED the gardens as you can tell from the photos we have added!
Overall a brilliant couple of nights that exceeded expectations (which were already high!). Just wish we could stay for longer. Thank you.

We stayed here at the end of October and had the most fantastic stay. The apartments are a short walk (100 mts) from the many restaurants and bars. The settings of the apartment are beautiful with a lovely pool and gardens, a bonus is the beautiful front gardens beyond the hotel entrance which guests have access to and lead directly onto the seafront. The location should also be appealing to car renters who can access the coast to Sagres and then up the Atlantic coast which is only 30 minutes away from Luz. The apartment itself has great facilities and is very spacious. Will visit again.

My family enjoyed a wonderful 4 nights at Ocean Villas Luz at the end of May and it was a great start to our 2 weeks in Portugal. This was our first time in the Algarve and in Praia da Luz BUT definitely not the last. I knew upon booking that Ocean Villas Luz was going to be a great stay and our experience only proved that! The 2 bedroom apartment was so spacious with everything we needed for our short stay, especially in the kitchen and with storage space. The entire place from our apartment to the pool to the gardens were so beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. My kids LOVED the pool, which provided a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax while they played. We enjoyed having a terrace, which provided a great place to start and end our day. Stores, restaurants, the beach, and other sights were just a short walk away. The only negative of our stay was that it wasn't longer. Next time I am back in Portugal, I will make sure that Praia da Luz and Ocean Villas Luz are part of my trip!
