We stayed here for 4 days in December 2016 and it was such a fantastic experience from the minute we walked in. First of all, the staff were the loveliest, most friendly and attentive people - always happy to help and with big smiles on their faces. The actual room (garden facing) was beautiful, large, always clean and a super...

We have just returned from the Sands where we stayed for one week on honeymoon, following on from safari. We stayed in a beach cottage, with interrupted views of the pristine beach. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and went to great lengths to ensure our stay was perfect - thank you so much to Richard and his team....

We stayed in a beautiful hut with a thatched roof facing the white sand Diani Beach, only 30 meters away. A very relaxing view, framed with baobabs, palms, bougainvillea and other flora...and a small tribe of African Green monkeys cavorting in them. We felt like we had a personal beach with few others passing by. The sunrises and sunsets are...

Honestly, this is a nice hotel and for the most part, the staff is very attentive. A special commendation goes to Benson, the hotel concierge, who is extremely friendly and helpful. However, the Hotel Manager is extremely unpleasant, rude and aggressive. I have never had such a terrible experience with the manager of any hotel, much less one that comes...

Dear Guests, many thanks for taking your valuable time to write the above review. Your review is so blatantly wrong and exaggerated that I am not going to bother responding in kind and trust that all readers will be able to make their own judgement based on other reviews.

Just WOW!...but on the expensive side. White sands, cool breeze, modern African decor, delicious food, great service & fantastic friends - what more could one ask for?! We visited the restaurant just before Christmas and selected a seating area that was fairly close to the sandy beach. The food was beautifully presented, the service was quick and attentive yet not...

It was a wonderful week with beautiful weather, great accommodation and excellent service. The beach bungalow had great views, Nomad restaurant on the beach served splendid food, including the candle dinner looking at the super moon. needless to say, the best asset of the resort are people working there, who made sure to make every moment of our stay special.

We had a very relaxing time at the Nomad. We especially like that it is a small boutique hotel so not much of human traffic. The cottages and ocean view rooms are ideally the best. The forest and sea view rooms were disappointing in comparison when we got a chance to see them. The view of the ocean from our room...

Anticipating that we would visit several restaurants we decided to start off at The Sands and Nomads. It was so good we went twice. Now when you go twice, that's when you get to see weaknesses. There were none. The food was excellent, and consistent, the service was great. Best dishes: 1. Tune tartare 2. Seafood platter 3. Pizza (brilliant!)...

Sands at Nomad is a good option. It has a nice garden, with plenty of space and not too crowded, and with an amazing view to the beach. Rooms are nicely decorated. Mine had some trouble with the safe and the fan, and both were fixed with relatively little inconvenience.
